Why did Russia hacking alter America's election outcome but not France's?

So both elections were 'hacked' (whatever that means) by Russians.
Dims claim it caused Trump to win because dim campaign operatives' emails were exposed by Wikipedia.
Same thing happened to Macron's campaign yet he won by a landslide getting 65-66% of the vote.
I don't understand. Somebody help me here. Why did the 'russians' fail so miserably in France's election yet succeeded so spectacularly in America's?

Maybe because the average American Trump voter is more easily fooled?

Moot point. The Russians didn't affect either election.

hrc believes that. She's still running for president with that 'Onward Together' bs. A few dims, like Japanese living in caves in the Philippines still fighting WWII, do. Watch. She'll get $contributions from the coastal 1%ers who disdain the rest of the country.

So Conservative Nationalists were fooled by "Conservative Nationalist Rhetoric"? Yep.....its other's that are easily fooled not the simpleton's who said Clinton would win by a landslide....so they decided not to vote and stay home. Sounds to me like the Russians knew exactly who to fool.
 
Obviously Trump lost the election vote because the majority supported Mrs Clinton, but won the Presidency because of the FBI and Russia were both intent on preventing a democratic result, the Russians by letting out selected Democratic emails. How do we know who'd have won in France without the foreign interference? It was interesting to see how the candidate of the Left was carefully ignored by all the foreign media, which is probably a straw in the wind.

Why did Putin want Trump? What was in for him?

Seems to me that Putin had his way with Obama and Hillary.

She sold them some uranium after nice big donations to the Clinton Foundation

He invaded Crimea and Ukraine with no repercussions

So why exactly would he not want Hillary?

I get the concept of rhetorical questions, but you really can't discern weeks and weeks of propaganda, vs. a last minute release of private emails?

It's kind of like asking why there was never another Hitler. Once you've seen it for the first time, you look for the signs of a repeat.
