Pence put himself at odds with his own principals and morality by accepting the VP nomination from Trumpf.
You may be correct. Pence may well drop out of the race rather than taint himself any further.

It may sound great to be holier than thou, but make no mistake, not a democrat here would be acting the same way if roles were reversed. They would circle the wagons.

McCain and Romney were "acceptable" republicans and they were both savaged by the left. Trump is not my ideal candidate, but at this point I am voting for him for spite

But look at the bright side. When Crooked ILLary appoints a left wing judge that says you don't have an individual right to own a gun you will have your soul and morals to protect you. That's something isn't it?

If judges and winning the election was the goal why did we select Trump as our candidate? Polls showed all along what we are seeing now and that's he was one of the few that would lose to Hillary. This is not a surprise. To each his own, if people want to give the finger to the "establishment"by supporting Trump that's fine but to now say people have to support him because of the Supreme Court is disingenuous because that was never an issue all along.

IMAO the dominoes began to fall when Governor Bush got the nomination.
Bush v. Gore just nudged it over the top.

The GOP hasn't been the same since. And rather than healing itself, it seems to be tearing itself apart.

Well if you remember I supported Ted Cruz, the real conservative in the race. But I seem to remember those that couldn't get behind him.

After years of being told to support weak kneed establishment types and losing people have had enough.

Like I said you go ahead and feel "superior" I am sure the lefties here will encourage you along and tell how you are "one of those republicans they like". It will make you feel good and you can spend the next four years navel gazing watching that cunt Hillary Clinton double down on failed leftist ideology.

Again this is no longer about Trump. This is about the elites vs the rest of us in a battle for the soul of this country. You may have given up because it makes you cool with the Jarod and Motts of the world but many haven't.

I suspect a more mainstream nominee, Governor Walker or Governor Kasich would have had a pretty good chance of beating Hillary this November.
But Republican voters by the millions opted to middle-finger salute the establishment, and chose Trump.

And NBC's MTP Chuck Todd says, at this point, the GOP establishment are switching to damage control mode. Todd says they've all but conceded defeat, and are now merely trying to preserve their presence in the houses of congress.

Unfortunately I am surrounded in real life by the Jarod's of the world, limousine liberals, and their approval I do not seek. At this point it's rehashing everything we know but Trump has been a Democrat most his life so for me it's not something I support but to each his own who does. It's been obvious all along he has almost no chance to win which is extremely unfortunate considering how bad and beatable Hillary is
