Blue Dogs are urban dwellers who work industrial union jobs, and vote Democrat (basically a cross of blue collar with yellow dog) while Yellow Dog typically meant southern retard. I don't know if it has an application outside of the south in places like CA or VT.

Then, of course, their are orange dogs.

I have to disagree that blue dogs are urban dwellers, if you mean that to be exclusive. There are lots of people here who are rural dwellers whom I would describe as blue dogs as well....basically conservative democrats. I do agree that yellow dogs are the low of the low though.

Well, according to the Wiki page on the Blue Dog Coalition, that is correct, but, I have always heard the term used to describe urban labor unionists who reliably vote Democrat. These people tend to be more socially conservative, and are notorious for such leftist faux pas as political incorrectness.

Some of the very ones that supported him only to lose their jobs to red China as their mill & manufacturing jobs were sacrificed for the betterment of the folks on wallstreet, I mean betterment of all of us.
