Sane, educated and intelligent people understand it's a variety of factors. There is no "gay gene" and, as the quote you ran from states, it's rarely by choice.I look forward to the day, should it ever come, that you realize that picking and choosing comments to suit your viewpoints comes to a halt.
from the article you posted...........
There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay, or lesbian orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors.
Without going into great detail, Christians are supposed to judge … with righteous judgment (Matt. 7:24) They are “fruit inspectors” of sorts (Gal. 5:16-26). Then they are to encourage those in error to change. (Acts 17:30; James’s 5:19-20)
You are free in this society to have your religious beliefs, you are not free to make laws based on your religion.
Not wanting to make any laws…though I believe some do. As a citizen of the US and proponent of the constitution it wouldn’t be “lawful. Just speaking my mind about the promotion of deviancy as being normal.
Incidentally, this is why I never ran for office, though I have been approached 3 times (State Rep of our district) to do so over the years, twice on the Democratic ticket and once on the Republican. I can’t mesh religion with law of the land. So I choose to keep to that which I consider more important.
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
We get it. We all understand how powerful hate can be.
We live in an age of gaslighting and projection.
Notice how Trump was a pedophile in the 80s and 90s so his fans began accusing Biden of being a pedo to balance it out.
Republicans accused Democrats of stacking the courts with activist judges then they stacked SCOTUS with activist judges.
RWers complained about Lefties canceling out Chik-fil-A then they began canceling out Bud Light.
The hypocrisy as neck deep.
The city governments of San Antonio and San Jose have been in the news recently, both opposing the openings of Chick-fil-A restaurants in the airports of their respective cities. Back in March, Buffalo Niagara International Airport was also against the restaurant opening its doors there. New York Assemblyman Sean Ryan (D-Buffalo) argued that Chick-fil-A was not an appropriate restaurant at a publicly financed airport.
Are you claiming Jesus spoke those words? Or was it the ex-tax collector who never met Jesus?Deviant behavior is that which goes against nature. It goes against the “natural use” of things.
Romans 1:27 — Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
As to those other things you have listed, I am not competent to talk about them. I won’t go into every detail and try to detail everything that is wrong or deviant. For me, scripture is pretty plain about the subject at hand. Notice, I said, “for me.” Everybody doesn’t look at the world through the same lens.
Agree with your first sentence.
Don’t know about your second sentence. That’s the sort of “judgment” I won’t delve into on either man. Whey they go to trial and are convicted I’ll comment.
Don’t necessarily disagree with your third point. Many of us RWingers see it as a balancing of the courts though.
As to your comparison of Chic-Fil-A and Bud Light … When towns take action and try to use laws to keep Bud Light out of their town because of politics it will be an apt comparison. Boycotts are one thing (I remember when the Dixie Chicks were “boycotted”) and I am all for them. If you don’t like the politics of an organization don’t frequent them. For instance, I’ve never spent a penny at Starbucks.
Chic-Fil-A has been the target of municipalities to keep them out.

^^^you should actually go back and read that entire post, but then again you have a huge inability to comprehend the most basic sentences correctly

Sexuality is wired very deeply into all animals, since it's basic to our ability to reproduce.
Are you and I agreed such actions are excessive, if not outright wrong? Do two wrongs ever make a right?
My brother always talks about “righteous judgement”, I don’t care how they dress it up, it’s still judgement.
No. Only a fucking moron thinks I boycotted Chik-fil-A. Are you a fucking moron, DtM?is this your rendition of 'yeah, we know we did wrong, but you can't do it because it's wrong'?????
That's quite a confession, DtM. How many gays and trannies have you consorted with in all your years?and my position ALL THIS TIME was that it's NOT scientifically proven yet. It might be in the future. But at this moment, it's not. Theory MIGHT be that its not a choice, but my experience with those I know show it's 50/50

why does a person not buying Bud Light hurt you?.......it apparently bothers you enough to start at least two threads a day about it......

It appears a lot of self-righteous people love to cherry-pick
A great article on Paul. I read a lot about him in my studies. Are you claiming Jesus spoke those words? Or was it the ex-tax collector who never met Jesus?
