Sane, educated and intelligent people understand it's a variety of factors. There is no "gay gene" and, as the quote you ran from states, it's rarely by choice.

Sexuality is wired very deeply into all animals, since it's basic to our ability to reproduce.

Not wanting to make any laws…though I believe some do. As a citizen of the US and proponent of the constitution it wouldn’t be “lawful. Just speaking my mind about the promotion of deviancy as being normal.

Incidentally, this is why I never ran for office, though I have been approached 3 times (State Rep of our district) to do so over the years, twice on the Democratic ticket and once on the Republican. I can’t mesh religion with law of the land. So I choose to keep to that which I consider more important.

Don’t know about your second sentence. That’s the sort of “judgment” I won’t delve into on either man. Whey they go to trial and are convicted I’ll comment.

Don’t necessarily disagree with your third point. Many of us RWingers see it as a balancing of the courts though. ;)

As to your comparison of Chic-Fil-A and Bud Light … When towns take action and try to use laws to keep Bud Light out of their town because of politics it will be an apt comparison. Boycotts are one thing (I remember when the Dixie Chicks were “boycotted”) and I am all for them. If you don’t like the politics of an organization don’t frequent them. For instance, I’ve never spent a penny at Starbucks.

Chic-Fil-A has been the target of municipalities to keep them out.

The city governments of San Antonio and San Jose have been in the news recently, both opposing the openings of Chick-fil-A restaurants in the airports of their respective cities. Back in March, Buffalo Niagara International Airport was also against the restaurant opening its doors there. New York Assemblyman Sean Ryan (D-Buffalo) argued that Chick-fil-A was not an appropriate restaurant at a publicly financed airport.

and my position ALL THIS TIME was that it's NOT scientifically proven yet. It might be in the future. But at this moment, it's not. Theory MIGHT be that its not a choice, but my experience with those I know show it's 50/50

The entire quote puts a different light on it:

It was a man speaking with the authority of Jesus (Matt 16:19; I Cor 10:7-11)…and by the inspiration of God. (II Tim 3:16).

As to Paul being an “ex-tax collector,” I can find no evidence for it. He was a Pharisee, he was well educated about the law of Moses, he could speak a couple of languages, at least, he was a Roman citizen…but I can’t say he was a tax-collector. More important to me, he was a Christians after his conversion (Acts 22:16) and was an apostle chosen by Christ himself (Acts 9).

Like I indicated, I see nothing wrong with individuals boycotting. I see nothing wrong with a foul mouthed nut shooting up cases of Bud Light, (actually found several six packs of beer and used them for target practice. It’s quite fun, especially if using a 44 mag. :)) if he indeed did. I see those acts as part of our freedom of speech. But in no way should government be in the business of banning or preventing businesses from establishing themselves wherever they meet the physical requirements.

For instance, a homosexual couple could open a bakery in the town where I live. They should have every right to do it. It would fail as I can think of three people who would frequent the place. One is a right the owners have and the other is the right of the individuals to shape there or not. But government should stay out of it either way.

I got to bow out of the discussion for now. We’ve entered Nashville and it’s time for lunch. I’ve enjoyed posting more than normal as the wife drives us down the interstate. I drove yesterday.
