Why are successful Republican politicians stupid?

some of it isjust dishonesty


they dont really believe what they say.

It means their memory of what the sscript is fails them.


when you really BELIEVE what you are saying it comes right to mind easily
 
In general, GOP voters seem to have different priorities when it comes to intelligence. You always hear stuff like the "who would you rather have a beer with" test, and GOP candidates are prone to eating pork rinds & that kind of thing as a campaign kicks into gear.

I mean, if you were getting brain surgery, would you go w/ the doctor who you'd rather have a beer with? I just find the personality stuff to be a very strange priority. Like last year - Trump "talks just like us!"
 
There's got to be a movement for everyone. Democrats is a broad coalition of the sane and normal. The Republicans are a coalition that represents the mentally disabled. They've got to have politicians that reflect their core constituency.

There's no way I could get through a beer with Donald Trump without punching that douche in the face.
