Why are Republicans engaging in a "witch hunt"?

Rump says the investigation into him is a "Witch Hunt."

Then his lawyers claim the same thing, while also claiming there is no investigation...?

Here is my question, Depending on which Rump you believe....

If he is being investigated, and it is a "Witch Hunt", then why are Republicans doing that?

Do you grasp the fact that a 'tweet' shows no nuance like the spoken word does.....

Can you take the ENTIRE tweet in context and understand its filled with irony....its perfectly plain to see.....

I'm under investigation ? Me? for firing the Director by the guy that told me to fire the director ?

Well........

To think that there aren't republicans that hate Trump as much if not more than the democrat party does is foolish beyond the realm of disbelief.

Grahmnesty? He made it clear he supported Hillary over Trump
McShamnesty? See above
Rubio? His feelings were hurt over losing the nomination to Trump

Countless other Republicans are fine with acting like liberals but want to talk like conservatives. They now have to act on their words and the pussies are skeered

I think it's more like you guys have to interpret it a certain way to protect the narrative lol.

The fact is it can be interpreted in at least two ways: the first, is Trump is implicitly conceding he's under investigation. The second way, is that it's meant as sarcasm and/or Twitter snark. The latter makes more sense given the WashPo context.

Plus we all know how snarky Trump can be.

I use the questions marks to high light the nuance .... the irony is plain as day.....the words themselves make it obvious.....with or without punctuation....
 
I'll buy that Trump was talking about the article, but the dumbass didn't make it clear, so he's at fault for the confusion. It's not our fault he's a retard and doesn't know how to communicate (Or keep his mouth shut)

a question mark would have made the tweet indicate disbelief ...
No such punctuation.
Declarative sentence.
Trump acknowledged that he knew he was under investigation...
