Why are blue state democrats running from harris?

My House rep, both senators, my governor, my lt. governor, my state attorney general, my mayor, my city council representative, and,
I'm pretty sure,
my local animal officer,
and most if not all of my school committee members [we often get at least one weirdo on school committee]
all support Kamala Harris for president.

Now I'm going to have REALLY look to see which of my politicians are not.
