Well, I think for one that they overestimated Hillary and second overestimated Republicans' disgust of Trump's behavior. No one in their right mind could think that Trump's behavior would be acceptable to anyone, so an educated guess would say that he could not be president. This is why we can't have nice things. Like faith in humanity.

Well, here's some nuance for you since you're a fan of it lol.

An anonymous source going to WashPo with the latest [seemingly, daily] unverifiable claim is the only known 'event' that can be reported on in many current instances. Hence, it isn't *known* whether Trump's latest 'scandal' is a fact, fiction or fake news.

And when such 'events' are propagated throughout the media it begins to border on propaganda. Trump has been bombarded with it in the past weeks.

They're trying to take him down, it's no secret. Is that the media's job?

I already said I don't believe 'the media', I believe what has actually happened. I find it comical that you hold the media to a higher standard than your chosen president. No one ever claimed that Trump supporters were consistent or even made sense!
