These are the exact same people who worshipped and stood by George Dumbya Bush for seven and a half years. Right up until they realized he had pushed us right to the precipice of a Second Great Republican Depression and any association with him was going to cost Republicans dearly at the ballot box. To put it another way, they continued to worship a President who started two failed wars, drove us to the edge of a Great Republican Depression, and inspired hatred and contempt around the world, right to near the very end. Dumbya still left office with a 25 to 30 percent approval rating. You know who those people were? That's right, the hard reich wing conservatives of America.

So you are talking about people who cling to failure against all logic and reason. Why? Because they would rather see America crash and burn rather than admit they were wrong to anonymous internet liberals they don't know and will whom never meet.
