Why all the rage toward Susan Collins?

Teflon Don

I'm back baby
Why is the left directing so much rage towards Susan Collins?

It isn’t like she was the deciding vote or anything

Why aren’t lefties trashing Manchin? He was the only democrat to vote for Kavanaugh

Why did lefties expect Collins to vote the way they wanted her to?

Is it just raw left wing sexism and misogyny?

she told victims of sexual assault they don't matter

keep believing that. It really does wonders for the conservative party when people see you folks saying this over and over.

Ford still has an opportunity to file a police report. Why doesn't she? I know you won't have an answer. LOL

sexual assault is one of the least reported crimes that exist

Now the breach will just get bigger

Al Franken was asked by the Democratic party to resign for being accused of being too touchy

for some reason all the right believed those women right from the second they came out

but these women were trashed by the right and had much more evidence

why is that ?

Susan Collins spoke to her conscience, she spoke to the constitution, she spoke to right and wrong.

One of our foundation principles, the principle that keeps us from being incarcerated by mob rule, is innocent until proven guilty.
It would have served Dr Fords cause if she would have tried to seek justice, rather than use the opportunity that she knew a Trump appointee 36 years ago, that she deeply disagreed with

Susan Collins is only met with rage from the same triggered nut-bags that are raging about anything that moves theses days

I hardly think she cares

Believe it or not, I agree with you. She's a Republican, and she voted to confirm a conservative nominee who was qualified for the court.

I get that Dems would use it as a rallying cry for fundraising, but that's just what parties do. She didn't do anything wrong. My view of her is basically unchanged (though I thought her speech was pretty blatant grandstanding).

Her speech was right out of trumps mouth. She bought it all and aired it out for all to appreciate. She entirely dismissed everything Ford or others said.

The franklin accusers did have photos, times, places, locations and not just a vague "you raped me. Prove you didnt"

Guess you don't control what you wish you could son, you simply do not matter.

Why is the left directing so much rage towards Susan Collins?

Because that's where the rage is likely to do the most good. She's vulnerable in 2020, and if she loses her replacement is likely to be much better.

Why aren’t lefties trashing Manchin?

Because trashing him is likely to be politically counter-productive. He's in the most right-wing state in the union, judging by Trump support. He's probably about as far left as you can go and still win that seat. So, if lefties were to primary him, even if they succeeded in getting a further left candidate in his place, the result would likely just be to lose that seat, which would mean to lose a vote on other key matters.

So, the left picks its fights. Right now, taking down Collins and replacing her with someone better is an achievable goal.

Why did lefties expect Collins to vote the way they wanted her to?

I didn't. I correctly predicted her vote the whole way. She puts a lot of effort into playing the part of a maverick/centrist on the Sunday shows, but her voting record speaks to a very different reality. Although she casts token maverick votes from time to time, it's nearly always when the GOP doesn't actually need her vote -- basically, they give her permission to play at being independent from time to time, to hold onto that seat for the party. But, when they need her on a key partisan objective, like putting Kavanaugh on the court or passing budget-busting upper-class tax cuts, she's there for them.

She spoke to her need to please the GOP's power brokers if she didn't want to get primaried.

That's a principle of criminal law. We're not talking about a criminal case. We're talking about a job interview. Surely you'd see that if, say, it were Hillary Clinton who was being vetted for a cabinet position.

Collins's unconscionable vote has already shaken loose $3.65 million for her 2020 opponent. That's not "nut-bags." It's the work of decent people putting their hard-earned money where their mouths are to try to rid this nation of a corrupt senator.

Nobody outside of the 'conservative party' gives a rats ass what they think.

Republicans Push Kavanaugh's Confirmation—But More Americans Believe Ford Than Kavanaugh

Democrats can already count Collin's seat on the Democratic side in 2020.

Maine is a liberal state .. or didn't you know that?

Maine has supported democrats for president in the last 7 elections. Didn't know that either, huh?

Shes toast.

Good riddance.

Her constituents don't agree with her conservative choice .. and democrats SHOULD attack her with furious anger. (Pulp Fiction)
