All I know with this whole thing is she totally set him up.. He had a prenuptial and did this to try to get a big settlement out of him that she wouldn't have gotten otherwise. If i am wrong then she wont get any money. Lets wait and see.

I agree that he was set up. I don't think that lets him off the hook nor should it. He wanted her he got her. Ever since there has been gold there have been gold-diggers. Even if the tapes were spliced they still show an unhinged man displaying a misogynistic attitude toward women and a detestable and racist attitude against black men.
Mel was one of my favorite actors. I am more than disappointed he was so reckless with his personal life that he disregarded the fan base that has been behind him all these years; that he has forever tarnished his professional career. It looks like Mel was too successful and it ruined him.
I hope he gets help and finds redemption from his alcoholism.
