The US is hard wired to be against anything old world. Catholicism, football, cricket, good sense, peace, intelligence.
A wall built around your shores would be a great thing. It would give work to the people, it would separate the US from the rest of the world and, believe me, few people would wish to scale it...in either direstion.
So go and be America. Drink your coke or snort it, get so fat you cant move, shoot people who disagree with you and lets leave it at that.

look, you know I hate religion but there are some things women just need to get over, and "not being a priest" is one of them. If you belong to a religion that actually believes in fantasy delusions about a magical sky god who watches you all the time and whatever he says is cosmic eternal truth, and he says NO GIRLS ALLOWED, then you don't just change your mind to make women happy.

Instead try advocating for the destruction of the idiotic institution in the first place, rather than making it just a bloated p.c. rubber stamp of happiness where everyone gets a trophy.

Inconsistent religion where one makes up things as they go along is imo the worst of the worst. God is supposed to be all knowing and his word is supposed to be unchanging. When you go against that you might as well just give up on religion entirely.

I respect die hard fundamentalists more than religious hypocrites.

yes. me too. Would be so great to see the religious hypocrites be reminded of how dumb their religion actually is if they get a true believer in rather than a cafeteria catholic

Whoever it is, I hope it brings about serious change that leads the Catholic Church from its harmfull practice of teaching children shame, guilt and fear.

Pshaw, all religions do that.

I think it's important for kids to learn shame, guilt and fear to keep them from growing up to be sociopaths. But that's not necessarily the job of religion.

Most children have to be taught to be sociopaths, we dont have to teach anything to prevent it. Not all religions teach it.

Though I believe its pure bigotry from a 'Catholic basher' to say the Catholic Church employs a harmful practice of teaching children shame, guilt and fear and
I wouldn't use the word ALL in saying its common to all religions.....
You sound like a competent parent or you will make one in the future.

Yeah?...Teaching them to have no sense of shame, fear or guilt is creating a sociopath...thats what Christiefan said.

To be raised without any moral compass is the create a type of sociopath....a set of moral values is not given to you by nature, its learned.

Thats your opinion.....Mine is, if you have no shame, no fear, and feel no guilt, you're a sociopath (the medical field uses the term psychopath)

The only problem with this little bit of goggbledegook is that no god ever said women could not be priests. It is a man made construct just like eating no neat on Fridays.
