Not really. You can support FDR for the things he was known for while thinking he wasn't right about everything. That's different from having confederate statues which are there specifically to honor the Confederacy.
I'd compare it to how I like Washington, but don't like that he owned slaves.

That was not about overthrowing the American government. If you thought about it., and I know you have not, He did it to preserve America. Now think about it. We can see they were done for opposing reasons. Do you think interring Japanese citizens was to break up the union? Maybe you do, but there are not many who would see it that way. It was a bad policy.

Why do you want to remove him from history?

History is what it is. Lee was actually a complicated character and it’s historically unfair to pin the word ‘confederacy’ in him like that’s the beginning and the end of Robert Lee.

Lee stood behind the 13th amendment that abolished slavery after the war and strongly advocated for national reconciliation after the war.

Is it somehow ‘wrong’ to remember him or even honor him for that?

The Civil war was American history..that'show bad your mindset is - and to top it off Lee preached reconcilliation as well as led Washington college.

Against all odds he out maneuvered Union generals -at least until Grant came along and use attrition to finish the south
i suggest you study some of the campaigns and see that facet of US history. It's worth your time
