Airstrip One
Completely Effed
It's a burn to single guys under the age of 30. There really aren't that many on this site...
if you really believe that you're a fucking idiot....
Funny you bring up the kid in the ghetto. If that kid works hard, applies him or herself they can become successful.
You apparently think there is some sort of defect with them. They must not be as smart as you right?
So you think all women believe in killing babies? Funny, my wife is pro life and is the one who showed me the light on offering no exceptions. Sorta pokes a hole in your misconception.
EPIC FAIL!
I'm sorry your wife lacks compassion for those kids who grow up in poverty and those suffering abuse and neglect but it's not surprising. After all, her judgement included marrying you. Need more be said?
I don't think I've ever met anyone so ignorant of history. Women were traded as goods. Whether marriages were arranged between warring parties or for the uniting of families do you think the woman was chosen because she could B-B-Q a good lamb's leg over the camp fire? Do you think the Bible tells the Jews to kill the men and keep the women for "slaves" because the women knew how to get the "whites" whiter on laundry day?
Just what do you think my naive little bumpkin?
I will take her compassion over yours any day. Your solution? Murder. Yeah, that is real compassionate.
I have no worries, life has a way of sending messages to people like you. You are obviously a Margaret Sanger adherent. It is very telling that you talk about the ghetto. Guess you want to clean out all of those brown skinned folks. Ironic that you want to murder off your political base so you perfect blonde haired blued eyed white folks are left. Carry on brown shirt
There is no murder because there was no birth. Try to connect the dots.
As for the ghetto remarks your lack of understanding is astounding. I'll give it one more try. More help is required for those children. More social programs. More government involvement. That does not include handing kids toilet brushes in school. And talking about schools all schools should be funded equally and private school vouchers should be done away with.
Along with your lack of understanding is your lack of logic as shown by your comment, " Ironic that you want to murder off your political base..." To make such an illogical statement shows your inability to comprehend the most basic logic.
Your faux concern about others is just a twist on the old "government help results in government dependency" talking point. How about letting those who need help decide for themselves what help is needed? Novel approach, huh? Just like letting women decide on what medical services/medications they require instead of having a panel of men decide. Of course, it has nothing to do with help. People against government help/social programs deliberately design them to fail. They design them to be inadequate and than say, "See, it doesn't work."
But people are catching on. They're starting to realize medical insurance can not be tied to a job when jobs come and go, when changing jobs results in a waiting period for benefits to kick in. As Obama said it's time to move forward, not go backward to the policies that resulted in the financial devastation for so many families.
You'll see the truth and logic after another four years of an Obama reign.![]()
that YOU are ignorant of the present......
Why is more help required of those ghetto kids? Why didn't you need government help? What government help did you get over and above roads and cops?
Surely you didn't do it on your own. Why do the ghetto kids need help and your kids don't? Be specific?
In what way my naive little friend?
Parents know kids pick up things from the people they hang around with and from the people who visit the home, etc. Ghetto kids are subjected to those who have to struggle for survival so they pick up certain traits. They have no choice but to look after their own interests first to the point they steal, sell drugs, etc; whatever is required to get money to buy decent food and clothing. That is their reality. The same way people act differently in prison. Or the same way some returning Vets have difficulty adjusting to civilian life. They learned survival in a certain setting and just like we counsel Vets and convicts kids growing up in a street environment require seeing the other side of life. That's where field trips come in. That's where tours of companies and talks by business folks is preferable to handing a kid a toilet brush to learn about the work ethic.
Middle class families talk about life in the middle class. They got a new theatre system because dad got a promotion at work for coming up with an idea to stream line a job, not because dad robbed a delivery truck while the driver was making a delivery to an electronics shop. While both kids may be overhearing the conversation regarding time study, one involves increasing production while the other involves the time available to make the theft; how long it takes the driver to deliver a sound system, get the required signature and return to the truck.
It's a matter of survival. That is why when one travels to countries that have poor social programs they're encouraged to stay within a certain distance of the resort, not to travel freely around the country because people who are hungry and poor will rob them. And why not? They have as much right to survive as anyone else. If it's a jungle out there, a dog eat dog world, then why wouldn't people do that?
Now, if one desires a civilized way to live they'll ensure no one has to resort to crime. The point being there is enough for everyone. No one is being asked to do without. It's simply greed that supports the current system.
On the up side a simple change in medical care, government medical, would remove the need for people to hoard money for medical emergencies. When ones life depends on how much money they have can we blame anyone for continually amassing more? When is "enough" reached when one does not know what illness may strike or the cost involved? Imagine the money that would be freed up if people didn't require medical accounts or worry about making medical insurance payments. Can a parent afford to loan their child $50,000 or $100,000 for education when a lack of money could prevent them from getting treatment?
Is this so difficult to understand?
Thanks! We had a terrific time! There was an illuminations on the water called "Reflections of a planet". Incredible! Along with the fire works there was a huge globe representing the earth and images were projected on it. Truly a masterpiece.
We took the meal plan so we were obliged to eat and eat and eat...... HA! I had Mickey waffles for breakfast almost every day.I even brought my own maple syrup.![]()
The weather was great. 90F every day.
Went on the Space Mountain ride. Not sure why. Felt like I was going to die! Wayyyy too old for that now.
We saw the Cirque du Soleil. Almost 10,000 people attended. It was both humorous and exciting. Those folks are in shape! HA!
Chatted with a security guy and he said there were 64,000 employees at Disney World and it encompassed 49 sq. miles. I'm sure I walked most of those miles.
Absolutely lovely vacation. The attractions, the amenities and, most important, the people were exceptional. It was our third time there and still new things to see.
The only down side was we missed our cats. They must have missed us as they both slept with us when we returned although the lady who came by had spoiled them with all kinds of food. Four different food dishes. They never had it so good.
you have a tendency to say things are happening now, then trying to document it with things that happened in the 1800s or even longer ago.....
All a bunch of racist sophistry. But you failed to tell us what gobblement programs that made it possible for you to get by.
Your blatant racism is astounding, apparently you think that these ghetto people (your code word for black people) are deficient in some way that they cannot overcome their challenges. They need you to help them by offering them more gobblement services so that you don't ever have to leave your cozy enclave.
How liberal of you
Love that waffle maker! The trip sounds fantastic. They must sink a lot of money into keeping it fresh and exciting. I was there once about 20 years ago and the only thing you mentioned that's familiar is Space Mountain. Did you go to Epcot and the other themed attractions?
I totally understand missing the cats. When we came back from vacation this year, my favorite ignored me for a few hours. He had to let me know he didn't appreciate Mom being away all that time. But we made up later (helped by a handful of kitty treats.)![]()
