No, you aren't. You either didn't read the article that you cited, or you did and didn't understand it, or you're a liar.

You "forgot" to cite this text: "public-health scientists say the real death rate is probably lower than the current estimates. U.S. health officials suggested in another article in the New England Journal of Medicine that the death rate could be well below 1%. (Other estimates have ranged between 1% and 2%.) That’s because current calculations are based on tallies of people who were ill enough to be tested, they wrote."

Listen, dipshit, the flu's death rate is .1%. Thus far, COVID is killing people at 3.4%, and there are THEORIES that it may be lower. Even if it is lower, no one thinks it will go below about 1%. That means this is 10x deadlier than the flu, unlike what Dear Leader is telling you, babybird.

Are you special?

There are theories that COVID-19 is killing people at 3.4%. You lose.

So you don't think there's a death rate of 3.4% as reported by WHO, CDC, etc.? That's what your dumb ass is saying?

I'm saying the source that you cited says that the 3.4% figure that you cherry-picked is disputed.

Even Obama’s African family says he was born in Kenya . JS

And you believed them. :palm:

"The document tweeted by Malik Obama appears to be the same forgery that right-wing blogger Lucas Smith tried to sell on eBay in 2009...

Asked to comment on the supposed birth certificate by The Independent, he demanded $10,000 (£8,200) to speak."

Too late ... we have already suffered from his presidency.

Like Putin backing Trump? Like that? :D

Yep. Just like that. :rofl2:

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday he wanted President Donald Trump to win the 2016 election because he believed Trump's policies would be more friendly to the Kremlin.

"Yes, I did. Yes, I did. Because he talked about bringing the U.S.-Russia relationship back to normal,” Putin said, standing alongside Trump at a joint news conference.

Again, the CURRENT death rate, as we know it, is 3.4%. You're quoting theoretical information. Hypotheses.

Germany says 60% of the population could get this illness. Even if its 1%, that's half a million. Dead. People who would otherwise be alive but for this virus.

Put that in American numbers, dipshit, (if you can count) and tell me this is no big deal. It's "just a flu".

Are you special?

You are right.

Let's say that the death rate for COVID-19 is 1%. There are ~330,000,000 million citizens of the U.S. Current estimates by epidemiologists are that ~60% of the population will eventually encounter and become infected with COVID-19. But let's say it's only 50%. At a death rate of only 1%, that means 1.65M people will die of it in the U.S. alone.

Tell it to the World Health Organization, you FUCKING idiot.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-rate/

3.4% Mortality Rate estimate by the World Health Organization (WHO) as of March 3
In his opening remarks at the March 3 media briefing on Covid-19, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated:

“Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.” [13]

Initial estimate was 2%
Initially, the World Health Organization (WHO) had mentioned 2% as a mortality rate estimate in a press conference on Wednesday, January 29 [1][2] and again on February 10. However, on January 29 WHO specified that this was a very early and provisional estimate that might have changed. Surveillance was increasing, within China but also globally, but at the time it was said that:

We don't know how many were infected ("When you look at how many people have died, you need to look at how many people where infected, and right now we don't know that number. So it is early to put a percentage on that."[1][2]).
The only number currently known is how many people have died out of those who have been reported to the WHO.
It is therefore very early to make any conclusive statements about what the overall mortality rate will be for the novel coronavirus, according to the World Health Organization [1][2].

Again, the CURRENT death rate, as we know it, is 3.4%.

No, the current percentage reported by World Health Organization data was derived by dividing the number of confirmed deaths globally into the number of confirmed cases.

That's what your source states.

It also states that estimated figure is disputed by public-health scientists and U.S. health officials.

The Dunning Kruger allstars decrying the skeptics is such hilariousness. Are you guys ever right? For fucks sake, you guys believed that NYC would be under water by the year 2000.
