Who is responsible for having chosen the head of the federal reserve?

Trump says that the economy is not his fault, And that the only problem with the Economy is the Fed.... We should figure out who nominated Jerome Powel, and fire that guy.

I would hate to work for a boss who publically blamed failure on his own employees, his own hirelings, his underlings.

Trump himself is on public record saying that Democrats are better for the economy.
What did he think would happen by taking a page from the Republican handbook, and passing trickle down tax cuts for the rich, blowing the deficit wide open, and worshipping at the alter of under-regulated, lassaize-faire capitalism?

Where are the Rumppers on this, do they know who hired the Chairman of the Fed?

Maybe they can help us out with this, if they don't ignore this thread entirely...
 
People are goofy and do not even understand the role of the Federal Reserve Bank, much less the adjusting of their credit rates.

When the FRB adjusts it's rate of interest, it only affects the rate on Federal Reserve Member Bank loans.

Does it affect Non-Member bank loan rates! NO! They can charge whatever they want!

So, having that said, why is everyone up in arms about the Federal Reserve Bank adjusting their rate of interest?

What is the problem? I ask you!
 
Yellen was the head of the fed and replaced by daffy with Powell. Trumps tariffs and international grandstanding are causing financial people to feel insecure about the future.

But who hired that guy, Powell... based on Trumps tweets, whoever nominated Powell to the fed should be removed from his job!

That is not what you asked. Therefore it is not false, it is absolutely correct. For your short memory: "But who hired that guy, Powell.". My answer was Senate. 100% correct.
