Oh please. I don't need a Bible lesson to know that trump is the definition of a Pharisee. (And yes, I know the widow's mite lesson doesn't mention Pharisees.) He could have done it without a big public announcement. What the heck is the point of that, other than self-aggrandizement? The man claims to be a multi-billionaire. Sandra Bullock isn't close to being a billionaire yet she made a $1 million donation without blowing her own horn.

You were the one who mentioned the widow's mite, I was pointing out that it had no context in what we are discussing in this thread, not related, no connection. And, on the contrary, the lesson of the widow's mite has everything to do with Pharisees.

If Bullock didn't mention her pledge, who did then? Who finds out about all these "stars" and their giving if they don't mention it themselves first?
