Who is a vaccine mandate intended to protect?

Even phony baloney Tony has retreated from “the vaccinated are dead ends for the virus” and will not contract or spread it to “just about everyone is going to get covid, regardless of vaccination status.”

But he’s also claiming that “those who did not get vaccinated will get sicker and bear the brunt of the severe aspect.”

Is this correct, or just the latest Faucian fallacy rooted not in data but in political exigency as he tap dances to save the routed remnants of his once mighty narrative army?

The data is preliminary, but so far, it looks pretty wrong. We’re seeing all kinds of data pollution around the stats and the use of definitions and slanted math to make boosters look like they work.

You can still get it but unvaccinated people are ten times more likely to test positive. If ten times more people are positive that makes a lot more people who they could infect. It is not just protecting you but all the people you could infect.

Why do you think they are trying so hard to spread the disease around? Because they think it'll kill all the people they want dead.

That's why they didn't mitigate it at the beginning; most of those who died at the beginning were disproportionately POC.

If COVID had hit Bumfuck, TN first instead of NYC, wiping out 3,000 people, Conservatives would have done everything in their power to stop the spread.

What are you talking about? How many more times I could test positive is irrelevant. I could infect you whether I am vaccinated or not. And since I have conceded the vaccine is "effective" then what would you need protection from?

All of us? If your stabbed and can get the virus anyway what protection do you receive by forcing me to get the stab? I could give you covid if I'm stabbed or not and the efficacy of your stab isn't improved or diminished if I'm stabbed or not, so again who is being protected? Is proper for the govt to demand I take a shot for the only apparent purpose of reducing my risk of hospitalization or death? As far as I can see that's the only benefit from getting the stab

The answer is OBVIOUS. It doesn't protect anyone from the Virus. It didn't lead to re-opening the economy or leading to everyone getting back to normal. The power-hungry political class are using this virus to promote their causes and empower them.
