I'll concede for this discussion that the govt can mandate a vaccine in the interest of public safety. I'll also concede for this discussion that the vaccine is "effective" at greatly reducing the risk of hospitalization and death from covid and that it doesn't prevent people from getting covid. So if he vaccine won't stop the spread of the disease then who is protected by the mandate? The vaccine protects the individual who get it not anyone around them. So mandating the vaccine can only be to protect the individual who gets it. That doesn't seem like a public safety issue since the vaccine does t present the spread of the disease so again who is protected by a vaccine mandate?

From what? If you claim it protects everyone from hospitalization and death from covid fine but my not being vaccinated poses no threat to you, so the govt can force me to protect myself? I have conceded the govt has a public safety interest but if you're stabbed I pose not threat to you so you don't need govt protection you have been stabbed.

Why doesn't the govt mandate salads since heart disease and obesity are just as deadly?

Regardless of the rest of your post, bottom line, if more people are vaccinated the chances are the virus will have less potential to spread and mutate thereby protecting everyone, really now all that difficult

Yes, you can still get COVID if you're vaccinated.

But you won't die from it.

But if you're unvaccinated and get COVID, there's a very good chance you'll die from it.

And we know most fascists are more Gravy Seals and less NAVY Seals with tons of comorbidities...so between now and Nov 2022, tens of thousands of your kind are going to choke to death, which will be a factor in at least one narrow election this Fall.

Yakuda has the typical mentality of Genus Trumptardius. He does not understand the concept of community. Why does it effect us? I'll give you a good anecdotal reason. My dad took a fall and had to be admitted to the hospital. That hospital is now stretched incredibly thin because it is full of idiots like Yakuda who are using healthcare resources because they've CHOSEN to be selfish assholes. He was in a hallway overnight before they found an 'observation room' (a bed with a curtain) to put him in. They were unable to adequately assess his condition, but discharged him to an unsafe environment because they needed to make room for more selifsh assholes. But the Trumptards don't care about others. Never have, never will.

Right, but if you're vaccinated, you won't end up on a ventilator or just straight up kick the bucket.

If you're not vaccinated, the odds of you dying from COVID go up exponentially.

COVID has never been more dangerous or deadly for unvaccinated people than it is right now.

And it will only get worse with the next variant, which could have been stopped if not for Nazis like you drinking your own piss instead of getting vaccinated.
