and who is the son of privlidge? Who exemplifies getting ahead because of who your daddy was? Who knows what its like to struggle out of poverty?


George Herbert Walker Bush, the son of Senator Prescott Bush?
Geroge Walker Bush, the son of former head of the CIA and former President Bush?
Bill Clinton, son of William Blyth, salesman who died with nuthing before Clinton was born? Who was raised by a single mother who had nuthing?
Barak Obama, the son of an African immigrant who moved away and left him alone with his poverty striken single mother?

Which of this groop is more of an inspirational american hero, the Democrats or the Republicans?

He lived down the street when I was growing up. He was a very cool guy, had a great VW bug collection.

I was raised poor in Apalachia, Served in Nam, only had a technical education, Was working poor for many years. Now I am a millyunair with a cement pond and no debt.

I am even going to have an oil /gas well drilled on my property if they ever get around to it.

I only met him a few times, but he was fairly calm, and showed me the VW bugs. Very friendly.

The one I had was genuine German built. A real peoples car.

Achually, I think all of the older model were made in Germany, its just the new ones that are made in Mexico.

I think they moved to mexico about 1980 or so timeframe for the ones imported to the US.

I doubt his collection was made in Mexico. It is far more likely he collected ones that were classic, plus when we were kids they were all made in Germany.
