Who are the people that still like Trump?

If there was any dirt to be found on Trump, it would have been brought front and foremost between May and November of 2016, because you can rest assured no stops were pulled on trying to find some during that period.

There is no dirt on Trump, he's an arrogant NY liberal American, I'll give you that. At least he's an American. He tried to do the best he could for this country while president. That is commendable.

If no dirt was found on him from May-November 2016? There ain't no dirt. That's real logic.

Were we better off at the end of Trump's admin than we were when he started?

I imagine you'd argue "yes," but I'd never agree w/ that. To me, there is a clear delineation between pre-Trump America, and post-Trump America.

We've always been divided, but it's now metastasized. Every aspect of our lives & livelihoods is now politicized. In many ways, he has brought out the worst in all of us.

Obama was the great divider. How can you not see that?

Yeah well, Americans are tired of the Social Marxist bullshit.

I am, too! No one really believes it, but I'm not a Democrat. I stood up & cheered when Bill Clinton said we needed a smaller, smarter gov't.

But both parties have really lost their way. In general, I think the GOP has gone much more down the rabbit hole w/ Trump. But I understand that opinions vary on that.

We agree here too. So far we don't have many folks on this site who are actually "Trumpers"... what we have are folks that were willing to vote for someone they don't like much in order to ensure someone they felt was worse from gaining the office.

This is the closest to the truth of it. But I would add that Trump turned out to be an excellent president by any objective measure. He was not my first choice by any means (that would be Carly Fiorina), but his platform was extremely compelling and the concepts were simple (and few, which is important. Much easier for the electorate to digest, and easier for the candidate to explain).

HRC had a record to run on, and it was abysmal, and had no discernable platform, especially after the "basket of deplorables" thing when I just flipped her off and tuned out. I still think she ran just to stay out of jail, and 'tater head's platform was a bunch of messianic gibberish (like virtually EVERY 21st century democrat), "VOTE FOR ME AND I'LL FIX EVERYTHING!!!" (just don't ask me how).

And a hint for all you social justice leftys out there: social change comes from a change of heart, not by throwing money at the "issue", not by putting trannys and gays in the cabinet regardless of qualification(that includes black female vice presidents), and certainly not from legislation. Let PRACTICALITY be your watchword.

Deplorables was not a platform. it was an accurate description as 1-6 showed. Trump was a pathetic president. He ended up with recking the economy, mishandling Covid, destroying any trust in American treaties, set iran onto building a nuke when they stopped and destroying American diplomacy. He acts like a tenager and embarrrasses anyone with firing neurons.

Trump has set a bonfire with lawyers' lives and careers. They are paying a huge price for pushing his lies. Rudy and Powell will end up disbarred and not able to play lawyer anymore. They may wind up in court for the dishonest shit they did.

Think so?

Is that a fact?

Name one bad policy!
Too easy. His convoluted energy policy. Either he's confused by his own policy of trying to curtail domestic oil production or begging despots and terrorist nations for oil rather than Canada means he hates America ( personally I believe it's the latter). The generous scenario is that his dementia has caused him to be confused. After all he has indicated he doesn't know what year or even century we're in.
Anything else ?

Who had the same policies as Trump and ran against him in 2020? I woulda voted for that guy.
they were all globalists McConnel and most Senators are . Getting China into the WTO was bipartisan
Trump was an outsider everyone hated him
considering how FUBAR DC is -being hated by DC is a good thing
There was no one. In addition there was no one that would call out the corruption of the RNC and HRC like he did. Only he had the balls to do it. I distinctly remember him saying that he did it because, "I don't care."
It's why he won in '16. But boy did he blow it with his unrestrained mouth. I vaguely remember him picking fights with people that never even criticized him directly. Like a school yard bully.

I'll give Patriot Trump all of the ata-boys he can stand, but the only two people I can see myself voting for as of now are the Fl gov and Gabbard

Democrats have fully embraced Social Marxism. Just look at who all Biden has appointed and the policies he's pushing.
