White Lib racist rage over arrest of 5 Memphis Police for murder of Tyre Nichols

I used to think it was a bad idea for Black Men to run from the cops, but after watching those video clips, I can clearly see now why they do, and now I believe in situations like this, I believe they do need to run for their lives.

The man ran because he feared for his life, and looks like he was right, because he was killed after all was said and done.

The police here were the cowards, not the man who ran! Never witnessed such a Beat Down by what is supposed to be Peace Officers. :palm:
 
Far worse than George Floyd; no cop beat Floyd, they merely restrained him “wrong”. These black cops beat, punched, kicked, 5-on-1 then the bald cop got his ASP baton and beat him some more while others held him down.

That was my 1st thought. There are some reactions along the lines of 'he shouldn't have run.' But I think he was trying to save his own life.

I can't imagine. It's a traffic stop.
 
Why do people think this is NOT about race?

I'm not saying it definitively IS - but the fact that the cops are black doesn't mean it isn't.

This doesn't represent your average police officer. There are bad apples in every profession.

One thing I noticed in the video, was one officer did get up on the man laying flat in the street and for about a minute the officer had his feet off of the ground, and had all of his weight on the victim with both his knees in the victim's abdomen or crotch area, while the other officers held the man to the ground.

Everybody knows that is totally illegal procedure now! The victim only weighed 140 lbs and died of internal bleeding!

All of these officers weighed over 190 lbs!

And even though only 5 officers were involved in the Beat DOwn, there were other officers there, and yes even WHite Officers that didn't do anything to stop what was going on or render aid to the victim.

So I see some similarities to the Floyd case.

Exactly.

Again - not saying it IS racism here. But it's the race of the victim that is the primary factor here.

Why was he running like that? Likely because he feared for his life. For a traffic stop. I don't think many white people think that way - and it's not because of something imaginary.

Oh, I agree. Most of our LE officers are great people who risk their lives to keep us safe. The MAGAs only vilify them when they're bringing other MAGAs to justice - like when they were all claiming the FBI planted documents in twump's stinky country club. They loved the FBI when they were investigating Clinton.
