Well, they are the ones the right listens to, it is the only reason I mention them. Fox News would have to be represented at a showing, and these clowns are the ones who get the most viewers who would question if this were truly Bin Laden.

Really... yet it is the LEFT that continually pays attention to everything that Rush and Hannity say so that they can quote them to show how evil they are. If you all ignored the idiots rather than quoting them and highlighting them on a daily basis, their 'power' would be greatly diminished. It is YOU who keep them in business.

Apparently you are not aware of their ratings and how much clout they have with the right, again, you are in denial because it doesn't fit your views of the world. You see this as being the fault of liberals when it isn't the liberals that make up their audiences, yes, some tune in to hear the others side, but that isn't the group that keeps them in business.

Rush has 20 million listeners each day...and I bet they aren't liberals for the most part. Hannity has an audience of over 2 million people a day and I guarantee they aren't all liberal.

1) I never stated that Hannity's audience was ALL liberal.

2) Yes Rush jumped recently to 20+ million from 14 million as the LIBERALS were constantly villifying him. Some of the biggest jumps came in those conservative bastions of NYC and Detroit.

3) yes, it is the liberals that keep them in business. Your constant references to them drive their business. THAT is why they use the language that they do and why they are so provocative. They know it will wind up the left into a frenzy (not to mention the small base they cater to)

4) Even if we were to assume that their viewership/listeners were ALL conservative. 20 million is approximately 6.4% of the total population of this country and 2 million is approximately 0.64%. So yes, they cater to a small fringe.

I think if the photos/videos exist, they need to be released. We're not children, we don't need protecting from Big Brother, we can handle it. There will always be a contingent of conspiracy nuts who don't believe anything you show them, but there will be far fewer of those, if the actual evidence is released. If this doesn't happen, with the 'burial at sea' and secrecy surrounding the seals unit who carried out the mission, there isn't really much evidence to prove this happened. Are people just supposed to take Obama at his word again? Are we "racists" because we want to see proof that OBL is really dead? To me, from a practical sense, I don't understand why we wouldn't want to release the photos and videos. I understand it might 'inflame' the radicals... who gives a shit? I'm way past doing things to appease terrorists... I would've wrapped the SOB in bacon before dumping his ass overboard! Show the photos... let the terrorists know, we'll hunt you down and kill your ass, then put the picture of your dead corpse on a damn t-shirt and sell it!
 
I guess everyone will have to stick with videos of Nick Berg (which I never watched, btw, because its disgusting)... Those aren't offensive to anyone who might blow something up or murder people.

Well, I guess what I am saying is... WHAT IS THE CONSIDERATION? I can't really see any logical reason why we can't see the pictures, watch the videos, hear the stories from the people who did the deed... I mean, come on, what the fuck? Why is this suddenly some event that needs to be swept under the rug and accepted as we've been told by our masters? What the hell is the purpose for NOT releasing this information???

1) Its possable it would endanger Americans by fanning the flames of anger. Just like when some networks refuse to air video messages from Bin Ladden.
2) It would be considered in bad taste to treat a deceased in such a way, much like why he was given as respectfull a burial as possable under the circumstances.
3) Other considerations, I dont pretend to know all possable reasons.

Considering all that I lean toward them releasing at least one photo.
 
Its one thing to know it happened, its another to have an image of it. You know a photo is worth a thousand words. AbuGarab is an example, there are lots of photos that have not yet been released, and many who argued none should ever have been released.

Yes, I belive that had we known about Abu Grabe and not seen it, the reaction would have been much different. Obviously GWB and Darth Cheney also felt that way.
