having watched the absolute devotion of the democrat and republican bases as they fawned over their candidates, the worst of them they could choose, I really don't think they are overly concerned about losing their cash flow. If anything, those devotees will just throw more money at them

resignations are irrelevant. the firings smack of hypocrisy, especially considering that one of the things Democrats told their base they wanted to do was decriminalize marijuana..............that isn't happening either, but i'm pretty sure the 'base' isn't going to concern themselves with it because 'TRUMP'

It's already ending. States themselves are nullifying it. The federal government, after all, never had any jurisdiction to declare anything you take into your own body illegal.
If you try to drive while under the influence of some random shit you used, that's one thing. But you are free to fuck yourself up anytime you want to. Nothing can stop that. State laws are certainly appropriate to deal with situations where you are harming others because you fucked yourself up.
