White Evangelicals, This is Why People Are Through With You; So STFU

That fucking liberal myth has been debunked so many times it's laughable morons like you still bring it up. You try to make it race but the truth is Obama was opposed more for his liberal agenda than his race. But keep believing what you want fool.

Translation: another intellectually impotent and insipidly stubborn Trump chump CANNOT logically or factually refute or disprove the information in the links I sourced, so he just keeps parroting the mantras that lost the GOP the Presidency for 2 terms to Obama.

This clown is so far in denial that he'll see Egypt soon. ;)

To be fair, there *were* a few RWers that criticized Obama for policy rather than race, but they were rare. By RWers I'm referring to forum denizens and Teatards, not professional (R)s who know better than to let their racism show.

evangelicals is not a religion it's a cult

Religions are cults. Each religion thinks the other ones are cults. Truth is , there is no difference. If you are not religious, you see them all the same. My cult is better than your cult.

It's not surprising that you would see a statement of empathy as "mocking."

Here, have some truthiness:

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Go ahead, deny the truth in these words.
He's saying there's a direct correlation between guns/religion and poverty.

Only a self absorbed asshole could come up with a comment like this.

"Because we're not living in liberal utopia, our lives are miserable, so there's nothing left to do but cling to our guns and religion".

lol

I suppose we all see what we want to see. To me he is sympathizing with the people who for generations had decent jobs working in the factories of the Rust Belt, then those jobs were lost as the factories closed down. Now all they have left that's familiar is their religion and their guns. They're angry about being let down by the government and they are anti-trade agreements because that is why they no longer have jobs. Ditto for immigrants who come here to work.

You don't think that this is a real attitude among blue-collar workers who have lost their livelihoods?

I think the President singled out places like these and used them as a dig against religion and 2nd Amendment supporters.

Look, the guy was in office for EIGHT years. Honestly, whose lives has he helped change for the better?

I know you do. Tis why I said we see what we want to see.

I don't recall that being in the Constitution -- that one of the duties of the POTUS was to make our lives better. In fact, I thought that was left up to the individual.

To answer your question though, with only one example, I would say that the people who are now healthier due to having health insurance coverage have had their lives improved for the better. My husband and I are two of them. Our health insurance through his retirement COBRA was $1000/month till it expired on January 31st. We were able to sign up for the ACA bronze plan through BC/BS. Our premium now is $78/month.

Thanks, Obama!

BTW, I appreciate the civil conversation.
