Which adjective do you think President Trump will use after his meeting with Putin,

"fantastic," "terrific," "excellent," "extraordinary," ..............?

Remember, the President also told us his meeting with Xi Jinping showed "tremendous progress," "best piece of chocolate cake ever," and then China went out and increased their trade with North Korea (who would be that unaware to invite an ex Chinese Communist to a Country Club to begin with?)

And now he's got Putin, a ruthless leader who is a master at realpolitik? Can't see "awesome," "tremendous," or "fabulous" coming regardless of what kind of cake is served, unless of course, the President fabricates once again

once again i do not care what he says. I care what he does.
China is always duplicous regarding to Korea -but this is a long term play and we have to see where it goes.

As long as he doesn't demonize Putin -it's an improvement.
I want to see lower level bilateral talks re-start again

Let's just nuke Moscow and get it over with.

Can't, good chance the fallout would eventually reach our west coast, when Chernobyl melted down they gave iodine shots for radiation in the US Northwest, a bomb would be much more disastrous

Reality of nuclear weapons

The problem with being a strongman is that once you encounter a real strongman, you end up looking weak (in other words, there's always a bigger bully). Trump is finding that out with Kim Jong Un and will probably find that out with Putin.

But how will we know if the President, as he has done so many times before, creates false narratives?

China is never going aid the West in checking N. Korea, it's not in their interest, been a US delusion for decades

And does deescalating Putin create concern within Europe? Given that the President's last visit to Europe left doubt in their minds, how would adding to that suspicion effect our relations with the rest of Europe?

Good point, let's hope not but I think you might be correct

what false narratives on foreign policy?

there are deals to be made, but it needs leverage.. maybe nuclearize Japan

NATO is settled down. They are actually increasing payments. Article 5 was affirmed by Trump
Europe doesn't want sanctions. The key is to get some progress on the issues, and reduce sanctions.

It's going to take some time -that's why I want to see some lower level talks that can lead to summit type agreements

But we don't know how strong Bowl Cut is either, because everyone walks on eggshells around him. Including, Obama The Beloved and Bush II.

Don't be surprised if Trump pokes at him to find out what he's made of.

The "poking" will be done by Vlad ...
From behind.
