It’s good that New York’s progressive elected officials and transit advocates are outraged by Jordan Neely’s killing on a Manhattan subway train Monday.

Neely’s life mattered — and so did the lives of the 27 other people violently killed on the subway since March 2020.

Where was the progressive outrage then?

It might have prevented the latest death.

But before Neely’s death, from March 2020 until early April, 27 people lost their lives to murder in the subway, many of them, like Neely, were homeless young people.

Where were AOC and Caban when homeless soccer player Akeem Loney, 32, was murdered by a stranger as he slept on the subway, in November 2021?

Apparently hiding under her desk in fear, blocks away, from the Capitol trespassers. The left doesn't care about the dead. They care about how they can use the dead to advance their agenda

Re: your thread title, not sleeping in the subway, obviously. Let us know how more progressive outrage could have prevented this.

Who's feeding you these topics anyway?

I'm still waiting for a leftist to tell me what gun regulation they would pass that would prevent future school shootings while allowing law abiding citizens to exercise their constitutional right to gun ownership.

The New York City subway has a daily ridership of approximately 2.4 million people

So who gives a shit about 27 people murdered in the NY subway system, right? It's funny how only some deaths get the attention of leftists while others don't. Hmmmmmm.

Inane question, like asking what law could you pass to guarantee no one will ever break speed limits on the highway, answer, none, but you can take measures aimed at reducing speed. If you do nothing, speeding continues, and most cases escalates, as we are seeing with guns

Stick to your flyover rube country

over 40 billion use the subway yearly

Exactly, and this thread is complaining about 27 over the course of three and half years, do the math, it would mathematically make NY Subways one of the safest places in America

Fair enough. Tell us what law you would pass to "slow down" these shootings. Please don't say the same stupid shit like background checks, they are already being done. What else you got?

So as I said you say, fuck the 27 murdered people. Got it. I love when you miserable pieces of garbage finally get honest. Don't you feel better just saying what you really believe instead of pretending you give a shit like you always do?

It's very difficult to commit mass murder, or to soak elementary schools in oceans of blood with chokeholds or knives.

It's a lot easier when a gun barrel stroker has a semi automatic assault rifle with 30 round capacity ammunition magazines

So you agree with guno, fuck the 27 murdered in the NY subway system, right? It doesnt serve your narrative. You're a useful leftist idiot aren't you?

27 murders out of four billion riders is a murder rate of 0.000000675%.

A police chief would be awarded a medal if he kept a city's murder rate that low.

And yet not one protest or outrage till this one

This one also falls under the murder rate of 0.000000675%.

Regulating access, make access more difficult, and current background checks are a joke, each State has their own regulations, close to thirty don’t even require background checks for private sales

Maybe it was keeping company with the conservative outrage.
