Did he sign a pledge to support the nominee, yes or no?
Yes.
Do pledges mean anything to you if breaking them helps you win?
No.

Why yes...yes I do prefer Trump over Hillary. At least with Trump there is some question as to how he would govern (no matter how he huffs and puffs now) and I've seen what it's like with Hillary for 8 years and don't like it.

The GOP came up with this pledge idea a year ago to try and keep Trump from running as a third party candidate. Both Kasich and Cruz figured that Trump would implode long ago and they could blast him if he indeed went third party.
But Trump didn't follow the script and guess what? Look who's not honoring the pledge now.

This one thinks that next week will be nothing but talk about the Democratic policy strategy and nothing about Trump. Trump is never going to be scrutinized by lefties like Elizabeth Warren because the convention will be nothing but the future vision the party has for the country.
Trump will hardly be mentioned.
Trump is the 'lessor evil' for sure. Why yes...yes I do prefer Trump over Hillary. At least with Trump there is some question as to how he would govern (no matter how he huffs and puffs now) and I've seen what it's like with Hillary for 8 years and don't like it.

Hillary embodies everything wrong with politics today.
Big donor/corporatist/skates along the edge of the law plus lies like Nixon - all with zero accountability
from the press and her own party. Then there are her multitudes of failure in government.
I'll take Trump as a grab bag candidate -he couldn't be any worse.
And if he can blow up the Republicans, maybe that contagion would hit the Dems too.
It did with Bernie -but he ran up against the pre-planned coronation - Hillary is the ultimate status quo.
I'm in Florida, and it matters. I doubt Trump can win because of the servile press coverage of Clinton ;In my state I could vote for neither and Trump would still win. The question is will Hillary carry a single county in Oklahoma? Likely not, and it won't be because she's a woman no more than it was because he is a black man.
