It wouldn't be the first time I've misread/misunderstood something that's for sure but I saw it as saying by voting for Gary Johnson I voted for the same people the racists did. How do you read it?

You didn't misread/misunderstand anything.
That's exactly what micawful said and meant. He's done the same thing with me time and again. You must remember that from dcj days.
He also outright said I was a racist for voting for Johnson. lol. The only one of the three running ( I don't count Jill ) that nobody ever accused or could accuse of being a racist.

He thought you voted for Trump which would associate you with racists.
You simply need to clarify you didn't vote for Trump, then he would not associate you with the ractists who did.
Gary Johnson is not POTUS, Trump is the POTUS, now reread the statement.
Gary Johnson is not POTUS, you need to reread his statement as well. I do believe you misunderstood his sentence.

It said I vote for the same POTUS as racists. What's the confusion? Doesn't matter that the person I voted for didn't win.

You both can plead your cases till the cows come home, but there is nothing on the left either of you support.
The two of you support institutional racism and I don't care how many white liberals on this board, and BAC don't think your racist........
All that matters to me, as a Black person, is what you support. And what you support oppresses, demonizes, kills and imprisons Blacks and other minorities.
That's the bottom line.
I guarantee you, most Blacks would see him as racist as well, especially because he support it.

You would need to go back to micawful's history to understand. No, Johnson is not potus, but he directly said I was a racist for voting for Gary Johnson. Before Nov. 8 he said, "if you vote for Johnson your are a racist," what is there to not understand? This is why 'racist' has virtually no meaning anymore. You can thank yourselves. I've never once had a republican make such a ridiculous

It has a lot of meaning to those of us who really listen. There is still a lot of subtle and now not so subtle racism in America as displayed on this board. You probably believe Text, God Bless and Teflon aren't racists, that's the way you seem to roll.
Beating a dead horse in my absence. I wrote it thinking you voted for trump. I don't want to open a can of worms, but I also believe today's variety of "independent " is not the college age philosophy student of yore.
A good great many with whom I am passing familiar drive around in beater trucks, are 70 years old, white, rural and have "don't tread on me" stickers on the tailgate. There is a big Tea Bagger overlay and yes, some racists in that bag of nuts.
What I know of Gary is what I learned late in his campaign, and that is that he is a dolt and had to be saved on a few occasions by his running mate who apparently was not so dim, named Weld, I believe was his name. To me it was
worth a chuckle because the appeal to many of that "independent" label was that it staked out some intellectual ground and escaped the "idiot" perception that dogs Republicans. So to learn Gary Johnson was as intellectually vacant as W was pretty funny.
