Doubt it was the same as me or most any other conservative since the vast majority of us are for equal pay commensurate with the job done. I'm still not in favor of killing the queers.

I'm sorry, Rana, but that is exactly how I see so many on the left acting when something like is happens. I have seen so many go to great lengths to not not a few key things. One, and the least important of which, IMO, is that the guy was a registered democrat by all accounts. Big whoop there. Doesn't matter what his political affiliation was. But the one that gets me is that so many don't seem to want to point out that he was, again by the information we have and what he apparently said before he died, influenced by ISIS. Obama can't say it. Most of the news is downplaying it. And what is the forefront of the talking heads on most channels today? You guessed it: the 2nd amendment.
 
I had to come back and add...Look at Jarod's post that I took the time to respond do. It is very apparent to me that Jarod wants this guy tied to the conservatives or to point out that this guys beliefs align more with conservatives. Why else would he make such a post?

Maybe, just maybe because he is a President who understands the backlash against the Muslim community when things like this happen and maybe, just maybe, Obama understands better than the rest of you that this feeds into the terrorists plans. They would love nothing better than for the Muslims and the gay communities to be at odds, they love nothing better than for you to be attacking liberals because we will not blame all of Islam for this tragedy and do not fully understand this man's motivations. Obama and most liberals understand these things. Our media never reports all the instances of hate that happen to Muslims after something like this happens. Do you ever stop to think that this is exactly how the terrorists want you to act?

As a man of the pulpit your job is to sow love and not this type of division. suspicion and hate.

Funny, Hillary shut down the investigation into his mosque for fear of upsetting muslimes. His coworkers were afraid to say anything about his antics because they didn't want to be seen as islamophobic. How did that work out for these gay people you claim to support.

It occurs to me that Obama is making a tacit concession.

Basically, he's saying his adminstration isn't able to articulate the message without implicating all Muslims or the sum total of the global Muslim community.

You really want this to be about homophobia don't you lol.

As a radical Islamist, Omar Mateen had a whole laundry list of rights that offended him. It happens he picked gay rights to associate in a club, and dance and kiss or whatever it is they do. If, he had some sort of underlying unresolved gay issue, it mitigates none of the former.
