That is entirely a possibility too. One way or another Trump won't be the Repub candidate for president. I favour your suggestion but I rather suspect that it won't be necessary.

All the ducks are lined up now to show anyone paying attention that Mueller isn't intent on destroying the Republican party but is insistent with the FBI's goal of eliminating him from politics because of the immediate need to save America from more shame and more of his destructive influence.

If the truth were known, the Republican congress knows he has to go too, and I'll bet more intelligent Repub supporters can see it too.
