Also regarding the Iraq War vote, many Dems including Hillary made a bad call. But remember that Cheney and Rumsfeld cooked the intel and presented the lie that Iraq was an imminent threat. This is a matter of history. Cheney and Rumsfeld launched and investigation designed to give debunked and dubious intel undue credence. The Dems who voted for the Iraq War were under the impression that they were being given accurate intel.

The neocons planned the Iraq War in the late 1990s. They used the tragedy of 9/11 to deceive Americans into supporting the war. This was actually listed as an objective in their plans (or rather, that Americans would reject war unless a Pearl Harbour style attack was launched on America). 9/11 was a vessel by which essentially evil people waged war under false pretenses. For all the crocodile tears over Benghazi, these exact same people refused to blame the Bush admin for anything relating to the damage done to the Middle East, the loss of over 4000 American soldiers, or the million dead Iraqis. At least Trump was kinda telling it straight here (even though he supported the war), but Republicans still lay the blame on Obama for ISIS and other such problems.
