What's the deal with Republicans calling the Democratic party the "Democrat party"?

No, I'm definitely not an outlier. I was Libertarian (Capital L) for years and ditched them because of their political inexpedience.

If it were up to me, I'd get rid of the whole facade and call the whole system the Republicrats, because in the end, for all the pulpit chest pounding and bickering, we get the same results regardless of which party is in power - vastly larger government, more intrusion on personal privacy and freedom, more and more endless wars and more and more corporatism.

These peons don't even know they're a cog in the wheel. They get up and defend Bush and the Republicans who expanded government at an unprecedented rate, and then when the Democrats get in power with this giant new government as a launching pad, they suddenly care about small government again.

Maybe the 2 cents worth of difference between the parties is that the Democrats are at least admit that they want to blow the government up like a never ending balloon. But in the end, the results are the same.

Its almost as if its 1 giant institution that knows you have to give the sheep a choice of two shepherds, but the shepherds are really puppets with their string being pulled by the same interests.

Well, I did not call you an outlier, because I never counted you in the Dumbfuck Party. To me, you are a libertarian. If you don't like the candidates, don't vote. I have not liked the LP candidates in the last two elections and I just did not vote for that position. I will never vote for someone I don't want to win.

I picked a side, and I'm voting for it, but I'm not going to try and change it. That would be pointless.

If I get a few billion dollars I'll just fund my own party and wipe it off the map. Then install myself as fuhrer.
