What would be your next step?

so nothing about social distancing?

no concerns about getting tested for what virus might ail you?

I'm social distancing anyway. If I'm sick & resting, I'm also social distancing.

I might have concerns, but the main thing w/ this one seems to be when breathing becomes very strained. If that happened, I'd try to get to a hospital again. If not - rest, fluids, tylenol, repeat.

What would make you believe it was bacterial?

What antibiotic would you want to have? Do you think you would have a gram negative or gram positive antibiotic?

Once identified and documented, viruses are very dominate in their world. They become a dynasty where old viruses wane out.

So if you don't have a dominant current virus, most likely you do not have a virus at all, but rather a bacteria- and they can be as deadly as a virus- if left untreated.

Besides, I would not even have to guess, as they are easily detectable as well as a virus- with a simple cheap blood test!

I'm sure doctors know which antibiotics are best and which bacterias are resistant to the medicine!

It is interesting, I don't hear any concern for testing outside of testing for flu and the chinese virus

That was the intended "gotcha" of this exercise?

A bit of a stretch, but I suppose opinions could vary.

Do you disagree that more testing is needed to get things reopened properly?

Let's walk through a scenario here. I would love to know what our Wikipedia trained infectious disease experts from the left would recommend doing

You have a fever of 102.3, cough, chills, fatigue, runny nose, sniffles, body aches, sore throat and generally feel like shit. You present to your physician and she does an influenza test and it comes back negative. She then does a COVID19 test because you are really, really scared. It comes back negative. You aren't sick enough to be admitted to the hospital

The question is NOW WHAT?

What do you do next? What is the next step?

I am limiting thread bans so all of our esteemed infectious disease experts from the left can participate and share their diagnostic skills

It depends on how well you know and trust your doctor. In my case I have had the same GP for 30 years and he has saved my life as well as my wife's life. If he said go home stay in bed drink plenty of fluids and take Tylenol for the fever that is what I would do. If things got worse I would call him.

Yes I disagree. And i you aren't wanting more testing you would want to know what the actual virus is right?

If doc says it's bacterial, I'd be given antibiotics and a steroid. If not, I'd go home, rest, stay hydrated, gargle salt water, drink a bunch of chicken soup for comfort and take NyQuil.

so apparently if one tests negative for the flu and the chinese virus leftists aren't interested in finding out what they have

no contact tracing for OTHER viruses or bacteria

Just the chinese virus. That seems racist

So nobody told you this?

Yes. it is a rare occurrence when two Flu-Viruses are dominate at any one time. Currently there are two, so when you go down to get your flu shot, you have a choice- Last years virus- or the already newer virus that has morphed itself into existence- or you can get a super dose that includes protection from both!

Decisions decisions!
