What will mean success for the teaparty turnout?

No politician welcomes the prospect of the legal system holding them accountable for their actions which is why so many of these investigations are shut down with official approval.

A little accountability is a dangerous thing.

BTW i don't think Clinton was ever charged with war-crimes was he? I can't remember it if he was anyway.

Thanks. I'm getting weary of their denials about everything.:cof1:

April 15 was the date of the largest number of tea parties, with demonstrations reported to be occurring in more than 750 cities.[34] Actual numbers of protesters varied from location to location. Statistican and liberal political activist Nate Silver noted the largest protests were in capitals and large cities, while many others had little or no reliable media coverage and were not included. He reported cumulative crowd size from various newspapers to be around 311,460 for 346 cities, including essentially all large cities and state capitals.[70] Christian Science Monitor has stated that "By some estimates, over half a million Americans took to the streets", which would make the protests the largest since March 25, 2006, where 750,000 protested in support of rights and protections for immigrants. It also stated that "Critics doubt the higher estimates of the turnout, and say the numbers represent the extreme right rather than a burgeoning political counterpoint to President Obama and current Washington policies."

the larger 346 cities were counted at 311,460. the others were way smaller thus the no coverage. There was no where near a million in the nation like Damo said.

to say there were one million is an exageration.

I'm sorry, did someone denigrate your savior??

You seem to have overlooked, that the question was about your god Clinton.

How many will it take to show it was a success?

Given that they had an entire cable network backing them, it would have to be in the tens of millions.

It is amusing that the number the talk show hosts use go up by about a hundred thousand every day.

Do you think Obama and Chavez discussed what it is like to have a media outlet calling for the overthrow of a democratically elected government?

Hey, get it right! That would be the number ONE cable news show beating all the others combined with 300,000 viewers to spare :)

It's not like the leftist propaganda machine (aka MSM) has not supported and covered their pet ventures of screaming whacko's destroying private and public property all in the name of some pet leftist cause. At least we know how to assemble and voice our dissent with integrity and respect of others.

That's all very interesting but can you tell me who actually charged him?

I only ask because it appears from your post that he was "charged" by a tribunal organised by some weird group called the "International Action Center". You can read about them here if you like.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Action_Center

I have never heard of them and i'm only guessing here, would suggest that it has no legal standing whatsoever.

So...has Clinton been charged with war crimes? Perhaps you can find a prosecution in the court of Greenpeace or something?

Charging and prosecution are two different things.
But then, you already knew that; HUH!!

GREENPEACE!! :lmao:

I assumed we were talking about something with a basis in legality. Apparently you have some different interpretation.

I could, for example, get together with some people i'd met in the street and charge a stapler with being a mass murderer. Then i could put the stapler on trial in front of a panel comprising three schoolchildren, a chicken and a medium sized, but well equipped, South Korean family car.

That would be about as valid.

March 25, 2006, where 750,000 protested in support of rights and protections for immigrants.

It was a small national protest and you refuse to face it.

If you one of the estimated 750,000 Americans who attended one of about 600 TEA parties last week, you might have seen media cameras covering the event. Media cameras, however, were not the only cameras taking video at these events, something that has at least one current FBI agent concerned over the future of America. According to this agent – the same agent who provided the Northeast Intelligence Network (NEIN) exclusively the unreleased photographs of the 11 missing Egyptian students who were the subject of a FBI BOLO in August 2006--placed his concerns for true patriots of the U.S. over his own career when he confided that covert surveillance was “planned and performed” at each of the TEA parties that took place last Tuesday.

looks like they may have done alright for a turn out.
