Will Bone Spur pardon Manafort? Will he fire Republican appointee Muller?

He'll play up the Clinton debunked conspiracies even more, firing Mueller would be a big mistake, but if that is what he has all to resort to he won't hesitate, and you know the Trumpkins are going support it regardless

When do people like Paul Ryan and McConnell part ways with Trump?

He really had a meltdown today. I love when he freaks out online like a 13 year old girl.

But it plays well with his base, he knows what he is doing, anytime he blunders or sees a setback he just regurgitates some cultural issue (NFL) or a Clinton conspiracy and the Tumpkins eat it up never realizing they've been played, it is what got him elected

What's "Bone spur" supposed to mean? I missed that meme. Can ya gimme a clue?

Sure, that was the basis for his draft deferment back during the Vietnam Era

If you had a doctor who would write up an aliment that disqualified you from the draft you were deferred, which is kinda ironic with the President because he boasts what a great athlete he was during the time period

I hate Trump. Really. I am on the Trump Derangement Syndrome spectrum. But I have enough self awareness of it that I can still step outside of my true feelings and take an objective look at things. From that perspective, I think the constant badgering of Trump is more destructive to the country than it is to Trump. We have already seen enough of how terrible he handles the duties. We don't need to keep a spotlight on him anymore than is absolutely necessary. The damage to our collective psyche is worse than the damage Trump will suffer because he lacks a normal sense of empathy and is a narcissist. Like rain off a duck's back, shame and guilt roll right off Trump.

He's a shameless human being, but I don't see it as "badgering." Trump is actually able to get away w/ a lot more than most lunatics would, and certainly most Presidents - already, we're seeing things like chronic lying & playground insults brushed off as, "Oh, that's just Trump." Some of what he has said & done would ruin other Presidencies.

Gotta keep an eye on the longview. Trump is changing the paradigm - we're becoming less civil, less honest & less sane.

OK, yeah, I wrote that, meant to think of a better word for what I meant, but forgot. LOL
I mean the constant drumbeat of negative stories. Hard to find a word for it when it's deserved. LOL

Yeah, I agree with you, but I have to say that I felt exactly same type of disgust back when we were being told blow jobs were not sex and the meaning of is was variable. I felt like we were beginning to slip back then. Not trying to pull a whataboutism, just saying it seems like we've been on a trajectory for a while and Trump is only possible when we come from a perspective that one's personal life doesn't affect their ability to hold office

Yeah, agreed. I'm a huge football fan, and teams seem to do better when they pick "character" guys over flawed stars.

The selection process sucks. What sane, honest & moral person would WANT to run for President now? It's a shame. Hard to see it really getting better.

One point I was trying make also was that we were normalized to dishonesty. Whenever I hear about someone cheating, my first thought is that it doesn't mean they're incompetent. I never agreed with it at the time when it was the excuse for Slick, but I'll be damned if it didn't become my instinctive first reaction. LOL Year after year I found myself not caring when I heard about cheating politicians. Not a single fuck was given. And that's why I didn't give a crap about Trump. I think a lot of people may have also been numbed like I was.
