Blind trust. Which is fine for investment holdings -not so fine for an ongoing business.
There has to be ethics ( some wall of control) and that's expected. what's not expected is liquidation of a worldwide real estate empire.
Like it or not the American people elected a billionaire -they knew Trump was a rich man.
There were no calls or promises for liquidation

it has never been a purely capitalist nation though our nation has always been based on market capitalism.

You have to take the two terms with a grain of salt. Neither capitalism or socialism work in pure forms.
 
More sour grapes. Fact: Trump 304 Bitch 227 Its much easier to defend anyone who has a "bully pulpit". Mr. Trump could do as Barry did.....expand upon the law concerning the legalities of both the President and Vice president's authority to legally keep their business interests as they are immune. All it would take is a swift pen and an EO.

Right...that's why Article 4, Section 4, Clause 1 exists in the constitution with the federalist papers (no. 10) explaining just how this nation was to established as anything but a pure democracy....the very aim of supposed socialism.

The Constitution and the Federalist papers are just an illusion they don't exist.

In a true monarchy, the land is called the kingdom, and the people, subjects. The State owns everything and everyone. Socialism has been the default form of gov't for thousands of years.

It took the rise of the merchant class to finally break that socialist stranglehold on the people.
