Truthmatters
Tell us the years in which the US was functioning the closest to what you think we should be functioning.

Whats your favorite time period when we were getting it right?

Probably post WW2....There were jobs a plenty. We had no global competition because our two main ones were destroyed(Japan and Germany). Unions were being accepted as part of the cost of labor, but it was before unions got too powerful.

You think Germany and Japan were our main pre-WWII global competition?

Should we wage another global war to eliminate China and bring back your golden era?

dear idiot it wasn't the war that made those good times.

it was the post war boom.

what was the top tax rate back then?

How many people were clamoring for tax cuts?

Ok.....look DEEEEEEEEEP into my post......did I say that? Was that EVEN THE QUESTION? Get back to me.

the people on the right now in this country don't like this country and never have.

They refuse to say what is this GRAND TIME they wish to "take this country back" to.

the reason is they know all the good times didn't involve their historically failed ideas.

their Deregulation above all mind set destroys the good times in this country and replaces them with constant boom and bust which benefits ONLY the wealthiest

Dear Cherrypicker,

You are being dishonest by ONLY talking about the top tax rate in the 1950s. Yes it was over 90%, but the bottom marginal rate was 20%. I have posted this chart and you ran from it. I would be happy to post it again. Do you really want to go back to ALL the tax rates of the 1950s? Surely it wasn't JUST the top marginal rate that made it grand? If it was, surely you can show us a fine economic study from a reputable source given your prodigious skill with Wiki.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't have figured you for a war lover.

Explain how Japan and Germany were our main pre-WWII global competition, will you?

Would you say that someone who wants to "fundamentally transform the United States of America" loves this country?

this was your answer you fucking liar

LOL, you asked what the best time in American history was, Wrinkles.

I told you it's still to come. The best is yet to come, Wrinkles. How come you don't think that?

Sucks to be old and feeble-minded, I suppose.
