how far Mitch f*cked up the SCOTUS, none of Trump’s appointees would have ever been approved via a supermajority, and in the future, as long as the President and Senate are two different parties, no nominee will reach the Court.

Prior Supreme Courts have had political trends, but none were 100% political, thanks to Mitch, this Court is and will remain so for decades to come

It is a radical, fringe, extremist court that is completely out of touch w/ mainstream America.

Their credibility is near zero. But, we're going to have to deal w/ it for a generation.

Poor anchovies, what this "leak" shows us is just how desperate the democrat party has become.

This is why extremism in political leadership and our government always becomes bad. Hate begets hate, extremism begets extremism.

While it’s true that the Republicans are winning the extremism game, the Democrats share a major portion of the blame for getting us here. Whenever a party’s agenda include removing or restricting freedoms, they are clearly part of the problem not part of the solution.

The reaction shows us that the Democrats and Left don't give a shit about rule of law or "democracy." They're about power and totalitarian rule.

Understood.

Overturning Roe is definitely a minority opinion. This is a political earthquake.
well OTHER polling shows social issues way down because people are hurting with pocketbook issues.
Im not going to answer the other thread - pointless to talk on both

curious if you felt the same about the vaxx mandate
Absolutely. I’m against forcing anyone to have a medical procedure they don’t want.

OTOH, I also support businesses the right to protect both their employees and clients/customers with a “No shoes, No shirt,, No mask, No vaxx, No service” policy. If a municipality or a State wants to do the same, I support that too.

Do you?

The pocketbook usually decides elections. But this could be different. Even for Americans who don't care too much about abortion, what the court is doing signals a hard right turn.

Republicans were going to coast to a big win in November. I don't know what this will do to that - but it has potential to change that outcome significantly.

Then congress needs to make an amendment to the Constitution that guarantees abortion on demand. I think this court is in touch with mainstream America and you are not.
