What Song Are You Listening To, Right Now?

I always liked this song.

I was never an Elvis fan and couldn't understand the devotion. My sister-in-law dragged me and her brother to an Elvis concert, the year before he died. It was in STL at Kiel. Our seats were so high and far away that he was just a dot on a square below, in a circle of light. Thought she would swoon though. Only Elvis song I like is:

Is this the best guitar solo ever? Randy Rhoads was a genius and tragically died at the age of 25 in a plane crash.

You know, I learned a few things today, one of those things is that sometimes what matters would be who and not simply what. The what matters but if the who is wrong then you don't want that what.

Someone said Elvis faked his death and lived in secrecy for the rest of his life under deep government protection and would eventually become friends with Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

The Kinks - Lola - Top of the Pops 1970

They looked like a pack of sharp jokers here. Got style. Shoulda kept the long hair and hippy clothes.

The guitarist left of the lead singer looks a lot like my old drummer friend from like 10 years ago. Eerie resemblance.

Oddly enough I only ever bought 2 Beatles albums (red and blue). I plan to buy many more when I re-start my music collection, whenever that will happen. I don't care for digital downloads. Physically real is good enough for me.

With a good turntable, quality cartridge and a decent preamp, clean vinyl does sound better than digital downloads and CDs.
