Too right you are.

As much as I like the mighty Zep, my position is that the body of work by Rush has stood the test of time, and on balance they are superior to Zep by a country mile.

On another tangent, I have always maintained that Alex Lifeson is arguably the most under-rated guitarist in the annals of Rock. Here is a good look at Lifeson shredding his axe, with the solo starting at about 35 seconds in.
