Faleh Almaleki, who had moved the family from Iraq to Arizona, apparently felt his 20-year-old daughter had become too Westernized, according to prosecutors. He allegedly crashed his Jeep into his daughter and her boyfriend's mother in 2009 as they walked across a parking lot. The daughter died from her injuries after two weeks in a coma. The mother lived.

We should respect the cultural differences that exist in his native country. How would he be judged by his peers? We have no culture here in America since we ask everyone to bring their own to the melting pot. I think he should be let off with a warning. He probably thought he was assimilating.

Maybe he should say it was self defense like the guy in New York who stabbed is wife more than 40 times and beheaded her at the Muslim-oriented cable station she co-founded with him almost a decade earlier.
