and as I said.....if they make the same percentage of profits on record sales obviously they will have record profits......your job is to prove they aren't getting the same percentage of profit....see?......the bar is still in the same place.....

They aren't. Their profit margin (what I think you're trying to talk about) has increased to record levels.
So not only are their gross profits at record highs, but so are their profit margins.
The average net profit margin for oil and gas production was 4.7% in 2021 and 31.3% in Q4 2021.

Jimmy Carter in combination with Reagan "radicalized" me. I was a hardcore liberal that voted for Carter but was disillusioned by his failed presidency. Then Reagan cane along and I threatened to leave the country. After Reagan first term and I could compare and contrast to Carter I made a sharp political right turn.
