What makes you more upset....

I was wrong.

I was wrong when I thought you couldn't possibly be as stupid as you seem.

Obviously you are. Try to follow along.

But we should punish people for assembling, right?

This is the statement we were discussing, non-Mensa:

I never said that.

You sure?

So, now that you know I'm not the one who made the declarative statement "I never said that", I'll ask again. Are you sure?

Do you have something to say or are you going to keep prancing around like the cat that ate the canary, jughead?

If Nazi's and KKK marching in the streets makes you less upset than a man taking a knee during the national anthem,

There is something wrong with you! Some very good people take a knee during the national anthem.
Neither. I don't go to protests of any kind and can't remember last time I went to an NFL game even though I grew up in New Orleans.

Finally we are getting somewhere. I would make the exception when they are on the clock though.

That decision is up to the owners and the league, and they have not seen fit to disallow the behavior, but that may change.

If want to see a demonstration, I'll go to one. I won't attend a sporting even that includes political protest.

there is something even MORE wrong with you if you protest against an ID to exercise a right (voter ID), yet demand an ID be provided to buy a firearm. it means you're a god damned hypocrite.

again that is a private business decision, and so called free speech doesn't apply either way

So....are you suggesting that the Pittsburgh Steelers should fire all but one of their team players because they refused to come unto the field during the playing of the National Anthem and there would be no backlash from the fans or the media....IF THEY SO WISHED, because its a business decision? That's exactly what I was pointing out....some people are more free to speak freely (no pun intended)...because it is a business decision based upon the bottom line and profitability.

The biggest reason that no one will pick up a player like Kaepernick is because he sucks and the free speech thing is simply an excuse. There is more here than meets the eye, there is some physical reason that he is unable to preform the way he used to, and I suggest that is the primary reason for the supposed Black Balling. Either he's lost interest in the sport once he got his pockets full and stopped training as he should or he is injured to the extent that it is handicapping any future employment.

Just look at other players who were Charged as being a trouble player.......other teams jumped on them, people such as TO, etc., proving that if a player is still a viable player someone is willing to deal with the excess baggage.
