What kind of idiot brings a BABY STROLLER into the passenger section of an airliner?

i think this is overblown already but im all for companies getting punished like this. They need to give their frontline more decision making capabilities and understand when the target is not hit because of it.

Situations like this are almost always caused by some executive who is about 10 layers away from a customer issuing a directive. That executive usually has no idea about the implications of said directive.

I am just speaking from years and years and years of experience with airlines. While I can't say I have been on EVERY single flight ever, I have never seen a stroller go in the overhead. There is ZERO need for it in the overhead. Trust me the aisle is too narrow for mama to navigate with a stroller. She can carry her kid and the stroller will be waiting on the jetway.

We can go round and round if you like but your are fucking wrong.

In my opinion every individual in this story is a douche including the mom who completely overeacted and the gate agent and the douche in first class who wanted to be a tough guy for YouTube.

There can't be zero room in the overhead because people PUT things in the overhead within the allowed dimensions.

The aisles accommodate wide things...like beverage carts. The distance between 2 aisle seats range from 12" to 15".

That is patently ridiculous. Only an idiot would try to take a kid down an airplane aisle in a stroller

They ALWAYS get gate checked. It would be ridiculous to allow a stroller in the overhead. There is no need to get it during flight and it is a terrible use of space

Yet the airline allows for it and she was told she could take it, which pretty much puts to lie that they "always" get gate checked. And only an idiot who didn't have two young children would think it is easier to carry two kids than it is to use the stroller for at least one of them. There's no "need" to get most of the stuff people bring on the plane and put in the overhead bin, like jackets, etc. The reality is you want to blame the passenger rather than the idiot who hit the woman when he grabbed the stroller and who the airline understands was not doing his job well...

Seriously, what others bring on the airplane is none of your business to begin with. It is allowed and the stupid employee was sick on a power trip and did the wrong thing. He got suspended for his stupidity. This isn't even a story IMO. The airline did the right thing and upgraded her and put her on a different flight and when the attendant was finished with the flight they suspended him.

You are exhibiting the reading comprehension of Deshtard now.

I have said EVERYONE acted wrongly, but why read what I say when you can moly it to suit your post.

Yeah, carry a kid in one arm and try to push a stroller down a narrow aisle with one hand while probably having another carry on for all the baby shit. Yeah, that sounds about right. Ad if she bangs into other passengers fuck em right? She SAYS she was told she could. I have seen no proof that she was told. You are just taking her word for it.

I get it. She is a sympathetic soul and the airline is a big bad corporation..

For the last time, the gate agent was a douche but that doesn't mean she was right either

Just like Ray Rice's wife, huh?

Only one of the people involved responded with violence. That's the beginning and end of the problem, not taking a stroller in the passenger section or the mother trying to bring two kids on a plane. There would be no video, no news story and no issue without the act of violence.

You are such a pos.

Can anyone explain to me how ILA can keep up his position when it has already been shown that the airline's policy allowed for certain strollers to be carried on?

The actual policy was cited, but ILA has put his head in the sand and pretends it doesn't exist.

Actually she wasn't his wife at the time

And boo fucking hoo

What is hilarious is that everyone on here carrying water for this mom would be itching up a storm if they boarded a plane and couldn't get their bag on because of an umbrella stroller

Every last one of you

Bullshit. I would allow a stroller over my bag any day of the year and twice on Christmas.

So, would you be OK if she put 1 baby in a backpack type carrier while she held the other in her arms? Is it wheels that are bothering you? Are you trokhophobic? Many of us go aboard with 1 of those size-appropriate suitcases with wheels that fit in the bin. Do you get your shorts in a knot when you see someone with one of those rolling down the aisle?

Like it matters.

When are you going to stop crying about how unfair it is to the airlines, punk ass. I am surprised you have time to spare from crying about Mexicans and Muslims, but i guess you have learned to spread the tears around from your lifetime of blubbering.

At least you've quit pissing yourself over ebola.

Did she have a backpack carrier? You should know you know everything else about this story.

And people don't roll their carry on down the aisle. Well maybe a regard does. Are you a retard?

Have you ever seen a woman push a stroller down an airplane aisle? I haven't.

The only thing you're accomplishing here is letting the forum know that:

1) You don't fly a lot, if at all.

2) you're childless.

You are trokhophobic. And, I can not believe you've never seen an airline traveler pushing or pulling a suitcase with built-in wheels on a plane. When did you last fly? With the Wright brothers???
