What is a "leftist?"

To me, that's a term to describe someone on the extreme left. And one of my fave conservative podcasters seems to agree w/ me on this. The order goes: leftist - liberal - moderate - centrist. And all 4 comprise "Democrats." The latter 2 are also part of "Republicans", and "Independents."

I'm starting this post because I have been called a "leftist" on here literally countless times. I haven't voted Democrat since 2008. My favorite candidate in 2016 was John Kasich (a real conservative, btw). I support privatizing social security, a maximum tax rate of 33.3%, and a stronger border. I'm also an environmentalist, pacifist and care deeply about fair treatment for the LGBTQ community. And yes - I think Trump is incompetent, and a poor leader for America. Particularly at this time of extreme division.

I can't overstate how much I abhor what happened to Charlie Kirk. That was a life-changing moment for me, and put me in a place that is way different from where I was 2 weeks ago. I didn't love his politics, but I love his mission, and commitment to getting America back to a place of civil discourse and thoughtful dialogue. And w/ regard to his politics, he was a true believer, and much of his belief system came from his faith, which I 100% respect.

So: am I a "leftist?" You tell me. I'm only a leftist if your definition of that is someone who disagrees w/ Trump.

Short answer: anyone who isn't an ass kissing MAGAt.

Longer answer: it's a range from left of Alt-Right all the way to Far Left. According to the MAGA morons, I'm a "leftist" because I don't support Trump and tearing down the American Republic.

I have no idea of what the MAGA morons consider a "leftist"...but insofar as being a leftist does mean "not being a MAGA moron; a Trump supporter; or a supporter of a GOP political agenda I find totally repugnant"...

...I not only am a leftist, I am very, very far to the left on damn near every social issue imaginable...

...AND I AM PROUD AS HELL THAT I AM.

I am a decent human being with concern for my fellow humans; with concern for the other living creatures with whom we share this planet; and with concern for the planet itself and with hopes that it can sustain its ability to be home to the diversity of living things now on it.

If there are MORONS who think ill of me for being a leftist...fuck 'em.
 
A leftist is a Democratic/Socialist/Communist loon who supports no cash bail, not prosecuting career violent criminals, open borders, doxing and assaulting and shooting at ICE agents doing their job, Democrats not voting to honor a man of God, men in women’s sports and in their dressing rooms, tampons in men’s restrooms and dressing rooms, men whacking off their Johnsons and calling themselves women, comedians who aren’t funny who say that rightists shot Charlie Kirk, a Communist as mayor of N.Y.C. Anti-Semites, and every deviant, perverted lifestyle on earth.

This is a summation of what a leftist is.

“Communist” is synonymous with “brain dead MAGAT cultist”

And I see from this post the MAGAT cultists are obsessed with someone else’s sexuality.
 
I’m a plain ol’ liberal. I’ve given up on the feckless Democrats though. They need a shakeup to get their shit together.

Unlike the Puritan MAGATS, I don’t give a flying fuck about transgenders and bathrooms. Everybody shits and everybody pees. I don’t give one goddam what the person in the next stall is doing. The transgender in college sports is also blown WAY out of proportion by the sex-obsessed right.

I’m also an atheist, especially with the Abrahamic cults, as there is ZERO evidence that an all-everything, interactive god that is interested in our daily affairs exists. No believer can explain the unnecessary suffering in this world and the theological gymnastics that Christians especially have to perform to explain all the bullshit and contradictions in their holy book is hilarious.

We have too fucking many guns in the hands of too fucking many people that should not have them. The SCOTUS fucked up Heller, but we have to live with it. In that light, all gun crimes should be federalized and prosecuted as such. Background checks to the max, including social media posts and any other interaction with authorities. No public carry.

I believe Israel has committed war crimes and that Trump should be removed from office. I look forward to the day he is no longer part of the human race.
