What I anticipate from Trump's 4 year presidency:
Candidate Trump made numerous extraordinary campaign promises.
They helped him to gain the free publicity he needed to win the election.
That's fine.
Now what?
What % of Trump campaign promises will be kept?
I suspect few of them will be as he lead us to believe.
BUT !!
I suspect Trump may try to pull a Nixon.
Nixon won the '68 election on the campaign promise that he (Nixon) had a "secret plan" to end the Vietnam War.
After 4 years the U.S. was still at War in Vietnam.
And what did Nixon say? "I failed"? NOPE !!
Instead Nixon said, that's why you have to re-elect me in '72, or I won't be able to complete my "secret plan".
And the U.S. electorate was so desperate to end the Vietnam War, the actually re-elected him to a term he never completed.
What else can Trump do?
- He's not going to build the kind of wall he leads us to believe will prevent illegal immigration and illegal contraband smuggling across the U.S. / Mexico border, and get Mexico to pay for all of it. That's fantasy. It's not going to happen.
So Trump will continue to use shady, vague rhetoric, trying to substitute words for deeds.
He's not fooling me!
