What happens when you privatize education

Teachers don't control the quality of education? See......dumb downed snowflakes. And of course.....there was not a recent history of TEACHERS shutting down entire states via STRIKE...nope that was just a conspiracy. :palm: Question? How's that Muslim problem coming along in your socialist utopia?

I'm afraid you aren't very quick. Because miners used to close down the mines by striking, did they 'control the coal industry'? I wish someone had told them! If you think tory Britain is a socialist Utopia, I suggest you give up on whatever you are taking before it sees you off. And what problem was that with Muslims, kiddiewinks? You didn't pay attention to geography either, hey? Do you know where the UK IS, peasant?

It's the same across the country, people virtue signal their support for public schools while sending their kids to private schools. Or if you have money they move to a well to do suburb with good public schools. You don't see people with money in LA, SF, NY or D.C. sending their kids to public schools. Hell even many public school teachers send their kids to private schools.

Again.....dumb downed? If they did not CONTROL the industry....why in the hell did they receive pay raises that management previously refused? Idiot socialist. Name one industry including the education industry that can function without the Indians required by the chiefs? And here you are attempting to tout Socialism as being superior to Capitalism.....while giving all the credit to management. LMAO:laugh: You have no cognition toward reason and logic whatsoever do you sheeple?

Because striking cuts down on the thieves' profits: that's what it for. You living in a Nunnery, or what? I'm surprised they let you have so many drugs.

But......management controls everything....no? The strikers control no industry. LMAO Logic and Reason. Even if its circular in nature it brings smoke from the ears of any leftist. You just contradicted your own argument that TEACHERS do not have the power to control the quality of education. What is the purpose of teachers if they don't teach?:palm: Idiot......the workers are the industry without the workers there can be no industry.

Like most right wingers you have a problem with reality. And your low IQ will not allow you to face the truth, or even the ability to express it. Simply because the teachers, or any group, manages to get more for their labor does not mean they control the system. How many miners died in mining accidents due to faulty equipment? Did the miners install that equipment, or were they forced to use that faulty equipment by management?

Same is true for education. Do the teachers control the curriculum, or are they forced to teach the curriculum they are given? Are school classes overcrowded, and what role does the teacher play in that? How much should a teacher be forced to use of their own income to provide supplies for their students?

Then we have your paranoia in regards to socialism. The only fault with socialism, in your limited intellect anyway, is that it takes from the wealthy whom you have chosen to idolize. You are so indoctrinated into your concept of capitalism that you lack the ability to understand that this country has always been one where socialism has existed alongside of capitalism. However, you seem to be proud of the reality that three (3) people own more of the countries wealth then the bottom 50% of the population. You brag about how 85% of the wealth of the stock market (pensions) is owned by 10% of the people. You pride yourself on the idea that 1/3 to 2/3 of corporate America pays no taxes yet whine when it is pointed out that 47% of the working class are not paid enough to have to pay federal taxes (they do pay some tax on a State, local, and Federal, level though).

Then you ignorantly declare "Name one industry including the education industry that can function without the Indians required by the chiefs?". That is right, however, why should not those "Indians" be paid a living wage where they would not have to depend on the government to provide for them?

Bright Tribe walks out of Panorama interview
A BBC investigation has discovered that a leading academy chain has made false claims for government grants.

BBC Panorama found that Bright Tribe Trust – which runs 10 schools in England - received public money for work that was either not finished or never done.

Its founder Michael Dwan told Panorama that the required work had been completed, before stopping the interview.

The Trust, which is now under new management, says it has commissioned independent investigations into how Bright Tribe was run.

They steal the taxpayer's money and leave the children idiots.

other than showing the usual corruption for executives and the higher ups in any organization, where is your proof that it makes children 'idiots'?????

Ain't it funny how "private enterprise" always goes after public funding.

Yep, dirty little invisible capitalist hands can usually be found in a public cookie jar, to mix metaphors. :eyeroll:
And then since there cannot be overlapping competing schools efficiently, there is a sort of monopoly conferred on them
for a time like they invented something.

On the old Amazon forum there was a gal who was a public high school teacher in Louisiana, where parents can receive vouchers to send their kids to private schools.
I grew up in Louisiana (I hate to admit). Interesting they do that again. When I was a kid I went to a private school using a voucher then the state discontinued that after my 6th grade and I went to a public school.
She taught English and was politically conservative. She said that the high schools often saw the results of children sent to some of those schools, and that they weren't pretty. By high school students should be reading and studying classic literature; instead they were having to take remedial English classes because their reading and comprehension skills were far below those of their public school-educated peers. She also said that unscrupulous "educators" would open up store-front private schools, collect the fees, then vanish with the money. From what she said, Louisiana has no laws in place that regulate the academics and testing to show progress of these schools, or for home-schoolers for that matter.
It all depends on the school. You go to the private schools that have a well established reputation for excellence and they're not cheap.
Looking back I wish I had gone to parochial schools since we couldn't afford the good private ones. I rarely did any homework and only studied for tests the night before. That was it.
The school was overcrowded so it was done in shifts, a.m. from 7:00 to 12:00 or p.m. from 1:00 to 6:00 so there was no time for a lunch break. The p.m. shift sucked really bad getting home at 6:30 -6:45 doing nothing all morning. Looking back it was a really bad experience.
Overall I came out OK but struggled my first two yrs. of college - it was a wakeup call.
I knew a kid that went to one of those store-front private schools and from what he told me you could get by doing nothing. Attendance was optional. Of course there's a lot of public schools in New Orleans that are no different.
One public h.s. in N.O. had a statistic that you had a better chance of surviving a tour of duty in Iraq than 3 yrs in that h.s. (3 yrs. out of 4 was about the avg. length of enrollment).
