I'm trying to imagine what it would take for Christians to get that degree of deference from the government lol. Germany must have an irrational fear of Muslims.

There's a word for that isn't there?

Everyone here knows Islam has a problem with radicalization which is often promoted at the State level yet we manage to be able to recognize that fact without being bigots. Why can't you?

There's two extremes: anti-Muslim bigotry on one hand; and on the other, you have Germany appeasing radical Muslims for fear of being percieved as Islamophobic.

The West needs to find the happy medium real quick.

Actually you have never acknowledged it. You go out of your way to defend them. In fact when the assaults first happened. I distinctly remember your side running to the side of the muslimes. You obviously think the women were asking for it

And that, is the other extreme. What's notable is the anti-Muslim bigots are powerless---they don't run this country and they sure as crap don't run Germany.

I recognize that just the mention of Islam itself unless the mention is positive gets one labeled as Islamaphobic. Why can't you? You defend them regardless.
 
Germany has lived through the equivalent of American racism, and paid for it, so they don't want to play those games any more, whether you call them 'religious' or 'Pop goes the Weasel'.

Indeed...its called "common sense". If it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, walks like a duck....its a DUCK. The only moderate Muslim is one that has run out of ammunition as per the sword point conversion espoused in the Koran. Europe is the standard bearer for the politically correct stance on "appeasement". Strange that the average number of Revolutions per STATE/Country in Europe over the past 230 years has been "6" revolutions per nation seeking "SOCIAL JUSTICE"...where as the United States has had 1 eight page document written at an 8th grade reading level that has resulted in the USA pulling Europe's proverbial ass out the "fascist fire" several times over the past 150 years. The difference? Application of Common Sense when applying the Law. Liberal Fascism: Politically Correct quest for Social Justice.
