The issue about the federal governments authority to make such choices is different than whether the choice is a good one or not. Maybe that’s too complex for you.

NO, I did not say that. I think they have every right to create a Department of Education, and I believe it is helpful to our nation to have one.

Based on what authority? How the fuck you feel? We had the founders and Lincoln and tons of brilliant minds without a department of education. There's been a precipitous decline in education since the Dept of education was created.

You are incorrect, we have universal education and much better education. There is waste and it has exceeded its value, but with some reform, it can be a and in some ways, already is a benefit to the United States.
